The days following Sol's revelations about the Deathly Hallows were filled with tense anticipation. The Mikaelson compound was quiet, but it was the kind of quiet that signaled a brewing storm. Klaus, Elijah, and Freya were more focused than ever, while Rebekah and Kol, though often playful, understood the gravity of the situation.

Harry—Hadrian, as Klaus now insisted—continued to settle into his new life. Though he spoke little, he had grown accustomed to the protective presence of his new family, especially Klaus. The boy still clung to his three words—papa, wolf, and mama—but there was a growing light in his eyes as he adjusted to his new reality.

Meanwhile, the wizarding world was in chaos. The Ministry was reeling from the revelations about Sirius Black, and Dumbledore's grip on power was weakening. Sol's careful maneuvers had destabilized the old guard, and whispers of dissent were spreading. Yet none of that changed the fact that the Hallows—the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak—were in play, and their existence posed a threat to Hadrian's safety. Dumbledore held the Elder Wand, the Invisibility Cloak lay in the Potter vault, and Voldemort had hidden the Resurrection Stone. They needed to act swiftly.

A Plan Begins to Form

Klaus stood on the balcony of the compound, overlooking the dense Virginia woods as night descended. The air was cool, and the stars shone brightly overhead, but Klaus's mind was far from peaceful. Freya joined him, concern etched on her face.

"We can't wait for them to move," Freya said, her voice low. "Dumbledore's influence may be weakening, but he's still dangerous. And Voldemort's fear of the Hallows only makes him more desperate."

Klaus didn't turn, his eyes still fixed on the horizon. "I know. But we need to be strategic. If we act too soon, we draw attention to Hadrian."

Freya nodded. "If we wait too long, Dumbledore will make the first move. He has the Elder Wand, Klaus. He'll eventually come for the cloak in the Potter vault—and Hadrian."

Klaus's jaw tightened. The Elder Wand was the most powerful wand in existence, and Dumbledore already possessed it. The Invisibility Cloak, which belonged to Hadrian, was locked in the Potter vault at Gringotts. The Resurrection Stone, hidden by Voldemort out of fear of death, was a looming threat. Hadrian was at the center of it all.

"We need to act," Klaus finally said, his voice cold and decisive. "Freya, you'll arrange for us to visit Gringotts. We'll retrieve the Invisibility Cloak before Dumbledore moves. As for the Resurrection Stone..."

Freya's eyes filled with concern. "Do you think we should find it before Dumbledore or Voldemort does?"

Klaus hesitated, but his resolve hardened. "If the stone remains hidden, it could be used against us. Voldemort's fear of death makes him unstable. The moment he thinks Dumbledore is closing in on the Hallows, he'll become dangerous. If we retrieve the stone, we control the board."

Freya nodded. "Agreed. I'll start looking into potential locations where Voldemort could have hidden it. But if he realizes we're hunting for it, it could draw his attention."

Klaus turned to face her, his eyes blazing with determination. "Let him come. He'll learn that the Mikaelsons are not to be trifled with."

The Potter Vault

Freya quickly arranged the necessary protections for their visit to Gringotts. By the next morning, Klaus, Elijah, and Freya prepared to leave Mystic Falls for London to reclaim the Invisibility Cloak.

Kol, of course, couldn't resist teasing Klaus. "Off to steal treasure, Nik? I thought you were becoming a proper family man."

Klaus smirked but said nothing. Rebekah, on the other hand, was more direct.
