The rain continues as the storm brews

Second April, the second, but technically the first day of everyone's high school life, but my school life in general. The rain continued throughout the night and is still going strong.

I woke up at 5 am, did some stretching, and followed a calisthenic routine. Since I have been faking an injury I can't go the gym for a week or two without arousing suspicion. I did some handstand pushups in my room, 3 five five-minute planks, 3 sets of leg raises, I filled up my bag with the heaviest books I could find and did 5 sets of weighted crunches, in the end, I finished my workout with some pull-ups using the door frame.

I must keep my physical health at its peak to overcome the challenges that I think might come my way at some point in the future.

After a sweaty workout, I went in the bathroom and took a hot shower, after the mundane routine of maintaining my hygiene I went in and made myself some breakfast. I had picked up some instant ramen from the store and decided to cook that for a fast breakfast before I could perfect my cooking.

I boiled the instant ramen separately without seasoning, and while it boiled I chopped up some vegetables and chicken breast, After rinsing the noodles, in a pan I added one tablespoon of cooking oil, I fried my chicken until it was crispy then added my vegetables, after that I added one teaspoon of soya sauce, one tablespoon of chili sauce and some raw chili. Then I added the noodles to it and stirred it until the flavors blended in together.

I realized that the noodles were sticking together to form an unpleasant scene, this must be the reason the website suggested I rinse the noodles in cold water after boiling. I made a mental note of my mistake and finished my cooking.

After eating a decent meal I put on my uniform and grabbed the umbrella I had bought yesterday after dragging myself to the store in the rain.

I stepped outside and immediately the act was on, but today I am feeling a bit more recovered from my injury so I tried walking straight a bit, I saw a boy at the far end of the lobby so this act was necessary. I made my way to the elevator, the door opened and I tried to take a step forward but my eyes stopped me.

She stood at the corner of the elevator, her long pink hair hanging down and reaching the back of her hips. Her striking blue eyes, like a beautiful ocean, invited me in—tempting, yet dangerous. Once you give in to the temptation, you might find yourself drowning in their depths. Dressed in the same uniform I had seen other girls in with a slightly longer skirt that still didn't reach past her knees, her figure was captivating, and her citrus fragrance would attack you mercilessly long after she'd left your sight.

While she seemed like the prettiest girl in the world, I'd say she didn't quite match the sharp, commanding beauty of Horikita. Although in terms of having a more appealing figure, she might have the edge as her chest was almost double the size of Horikita's.

At the sight of her, I stopped and memories of my conversation with Matsu flowed into my brain.

"Ayanakouji-kun, take this as advice from an old man, whenever you see a pretty girl, smile at her with all your might and greet her with the most amount of charm you can muster."

"How do I make out what girl is pretty or not?"

"I wouldn't have worked for your father if I knew that myself at your age."

"Good morning," I nodded my head in her direction and forced a smile.

The girl who was looking in my direction smiled the most genuine smile I had seen in my entire life, "Gooood morning~ Hi, my name is Ichinose Honami, nice to meet you!"
