Jihoon tossed his phone on the bed, eyes drifting toward the shattered camera with a pleased smirk. The power that coursed through him was addictive; the knowledge that Soonyoung had no choice but to watch, to crave, while Jihoon remained untouchable. He settled back into his sheets, the adrenaline from his little show still pulsing through his veins.
A buzz from his phone broke the silence. Jihoon glanced over, half-expecting Soonyoung to have given up for the night. But the message that blinked on the screen only made his smirk widen.
Soonyoung:
You’re playing a dangerous game, Jihoon.Jihoon raised an eyebrow, amused. Soonyoung always started out with these attempts to sound in control, like he was still the master of this situation. But Jihoon knew better.
Jihoon:
If I were scared of danger, I wouldn’t be here.
What’s the matter, Hoshi? Camera didn’t give you the thrill you wanted? The three dots indicating Soonyoung’s response flickered almost immediately. Jihoon could imagine him, hunched over his phone, jaw clenched in frustration. The thought of Soonyoung being worked up, desperate for him, only made this more enjoyable.
Soonyoung:
You think this is just a game for me?
I’ll have you, Jihoon. You’ll be mine. I won’t stop until you are.Jihoon let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. Soonyoung’s possessiveness always bled through his words like this, and Jihoon couldn’t deny how much it intrigued him. But Jihoon also knew how to wield his power. He would never just submit to being someone’s possession. He was too skilled at turning the tables.
Jihoon:
You sound desperate.
Did I drive you mad already? You really can’t touch me, can you?Jihoon shifted in his bed, one leg tucked beneath him as he propped himself up against the pillows. He could feel the tension crackling between them even through the screen. There was something so intimate about this exchange, a battle of wills fought with words. And Jihoon, as always, was confident in his victory.
Soonyoung:
You’re only making it worse for yourself. I’ve held back because I enjoy this—enjoy seeing you squirm, testing me.
But there’s a limit to how long I’ll stay patient, Jihoon.Jihoon paused, biting his lip. Soonyoung’s words sent a thrill through him, though he wouldn’t admit it. He liked this—liked pushing Soonyoung to the edge, liked watching him unravel. Jihoon’s fingers hovered over the keys for a moment before he decided to push just a little further.
Jihoon:
Patient?
Is that what you call this obsession of yours? Sitting behind a screen, watching me like a starving dog? That doesn’t sound like control, Soonyoung. That sounds like you’re already mine. The response came swiftly.
Soonyoung:
You’re wrong if you think you hold all the power here. I could come for you any time I want. But I don’t.
Because I like to watch you fight it, Jihoon. I like to watch you pretend you’re in control when I know what you really want.Jihoon’s breath hitched, a spark of something unfamiliar igniting in his chest. There was a truth in Soonyoung’s words, one that Jihoon wasn’t ready to confront just yet. So he did what he always did—he deflected, taunted, shifted the balance back in his favor.
Jihoon:
If you knew what I wanted, you wouldn’t be wasting your time sending messages. You’d be here.
But you’re not, are you?Jihoon felt the tension on the other side of the screen. Soonyoung was simmering, barely holding himself together, and Jihoon knew that the next words would be a tipping point.
Soonyoung:
You really want me to come there? You want me to show up at your door, take what’s mine? Is that what you’re asking for?Jihoon felt a shiver run down his spine. Soonyoung wasn’t bluffing, he could feel it. There was a possessive edge in his words, a warning that this back-and-forth could shift into something far more dangerous at any moment. And Jihoon, as much as he played with the fire, felt the heat rising.
He debated how far to push this. The thrill of control, of teasing Soonyoung, was intoxicating, but there was a part of him that ached to see what would happen if Soonyoung did show up. If he really crossed the line they’d both been flirting with.
But Jihoon wasn’t about to give him that satisfaction. Not yet.
Jihoon:
You can try, Soonyoung. But you’ll lose.
You always do.A pause stretched on, longer than before. Jihoon waited, his heart racing as the silence hung heavy between them. When Soonyoung finally responded, it wasn’t what he expected.
Soonyoung:
You think you have me figured out?
You’re underestimating me, Jihoon. I can give you everything you want.
But you’re too scared to ask for it, aren’t you?Jihoon’s fingers froze over the keyboard. There was something in Soonyoung’s words, something that hit deeper than he intended. Jihoon prided himself on being in control, on never letting anyone see through the layers he carefully crafted. But Soonyoung—he had a way of pushing past that. He always had.
Jihoon:
You think I’m scared of you?
You don’t know me as well as you think you do.Another buzz.
Soonyoung:
Then let me come. Prove me wrong.
Let me see you.
Let me touch you.Jihoon stared at the screen, his heart beating wildly in his chest. The words felt like a challenge, but there was something else there, something dangerous and thrilling. Soonyoung was daring him, and Jihoon wasn’t sure how far he could go before everything between them would ignite.
He typed slowly, his eyes narrowing as his fingers hovered over the keys.
Jihoon:
Not tonight.
But soon. There was a long pause. Jihoon almost thought Soonyoung had given up when a final message came through.
Soonyoung:
Soon then.
But remember, Jihoon. You’re mine, whether you admit it or not.Jihoon smirked, tossing his phone aside and letting the tension settle into his bones. He lay back against the pillows, staring up at the ceiling, his mind spinning with Soonyoung’s words. There was a dangerous, inevitable pull between them, one that Jihoon could no longer ignore.
But the game wasn’t over. Not yet.
