The moment I was relaxing in my deep sleep, I felt little legs kicking in the side of my stomach.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!"

It was Lia who has been kicking me over and over again.

"L-Lia...what's the matter? I have an alarm-clock y-know--"

"The nice lady is gone!"

"Wait, what!"

As soon as I looked to my right, Veronicah was gone. Where is she? Did she seriously leave me early in the morning?

It made me worried.

Anxiety started growing and telling me that she left us here early in the morning, well obviously, because she just disappeared without telling me if she'll go out for a walk or be right back.

Then I instantly turned to Lia,

"Lia, stay right here. I'll call someone to babysit you right away."

Then I quickly ran to get my jacket and keys,

then head back to my room where Lia was chilling at

"Please stay right here,"

"I'll go find for mommy---- I MEAN- Veronicah..."

SERIOUSLY, I even stumbled on my words by calling Veronicah a 'mommy'

Gosh I felt so ashamed of myself, she's about the same age as me but 1 year older.

I looked outside then Veronicah's car was still there, but there was no sign of Veronicah.

What the heck was going on?

A pang of worry washed over me as I got outside and to my garage,

just to see my car is under circumstances

I got back to my room to see Lia fell back into deep sleep like she just ignored the fact I was panicking over here

I mean, she's a kid after all

She wouldn't understand

I reached out for my phone on the desk then tried calling Veronicah but it turned out she blocked me

"What....why!?"

I stare at my phone...dumbfounded as I kept on thinking of a another way to reach out for Veronicah but anxiety kept slapping me right on the face over and over again.
