Summary: The chosen one and her allies reach Death's Canyon, and it isn't long before they have to deal with the organization again.
She walked through the halls of the dreary castle, hastening her steps only once she reached the throne room, in which she sat on the glorious throne. She looked out the window to her right and sighed heavily. The sky was its usual red color. It was eerie, just the way she liked it.
She reverted her attention toward the doorway when she heard someone enter. A young girl wearing a black cloak approached her master, but she was shaking in the process. Subject 21 was the throne's occupant, and she was known for having quite the temper. As a result of her minion's nervousness, she slammed her fists on the table in front of her.
"W-What did I do wrong?" the girl stammered.
21 sighed yet again. Sitting up, she said, "It no longer matters. I summoned you here for a special reason."
"You wish for me to eliminate the chosen one, correct?"
"Let me speak."
The girl gulped. "Y-Yes, Master."
"You are to travel to Death's Canyon and dispose of the chosen one, along with those disgusting colleagues of hers. They must not live if we are to destroy this planet."
"I understand. Those mortals must die."
"I am sending Ashleigh, Zoe, and Glenn with you. Oh, that reminds me. You haven't seen Charlie, Trent, Kenya, and Zachary lately, have you?"
"No, Master. I have not seen them in a few days."
"Very well. I will just have to search for them myself. In the meantime, make sure Beatrix and the others do not survive. I expect you not to fail me. Do you understand?" The girl shakily nodded in response. "Good. Now get out of my sight."

Beatrix and those she had been forced to travel with reached the canyon in approximately twenty minutes. The first thing they noticed about the scenery was the dark sky and cracked ground. They did not have much time to look around, for Terrors blocked their path. The creatures in particular, though, were quite different than those seen in Motorworld. They were much larger in diameter, and they possessed no facial features. The only noticeable feature to them was their arms, which were shaped like tentacles.
Beatrix became rather light headed during the battle. Every now and then, she would hear one of them whisper her name repeatedly. The whispers eventually increased in volume, and soon all of the creatures were uttering her name. It soon turned into sinister growling, prompting Beatrix to slay the beasts as quickly as she could manage. In the end, she was the only person to have disposed of any.
The others gazed at her in astonishment. Beatrix, annoyed by the awkward silence, seethed, "If you do not quit staring at me, I will kill every last one of you."
"Apologies," Natalie finally spoke. "It's just...that power..."
"I am more powerful than you realize. What, did you doubt me?"
"I-I never said that. I just--"
"It doesn't matter. Look, let's just continue with this ridiculous journey." She paused, blinking in confusion. "What exactly are we doing?"
