In the heart of gotham city wailing echoed through the streets while police cruisers barreled down the street.

"Roger street! The vigilante is leaping from buildings on roger street"

Inside a police car smoke puffed out in a small cloud as an officer sat in the normal blue uniform with a pistol drawn and a lit cigar hanging in his mouth.

Officer: Ready to see what we do to vigilantes here rookie?

Rookie: Uh sir, could you not puff that stuff in my face?

A scrunched up expression formed on the rookie who sped down the street tailing the other cruisers.

Officer: It's good stuff kiddo, sides that can ya see em up ere?

Rookie: Not at all sir, wait. . . nevermind that he's jumping from the barbershop onto an apartment complex!

Officer: Atta boy, lemme see if i pop that sonuva bitch. .

Up above leaping from a rooftop was a figure dressed in black with a hood and a plastic mask obscuring his face.

Rain fell from the sky partially obscuring his frame as he jumped over a ledge crossing a gap landing in a roll onto his feet before continuing.

Gunshots split the air as the officer's shot at him from within their vehicles.

"Y/n how are things looking?"

The voice was gruff coming from an earpiece inside the figure known as Y/n's ear under his hood.

Y/n: Not too good police are on my ass like flies on shit.

"Told ya kid, this kinda thing is too risky! It's gonna get you killed like so many others!"

Y/n: It's better then doing nothing. .

Huffs left his lips as he sprinted moving his hands by his sides as his eyes glanced off the roofing he was on towards the police cars in pursuit of him.

". . .Stupid kid. . ."

Y/n chuckled and jumped onto some scaffolding on a construction site running atop those wooden boards that creaked with his every step.

His clothes rustled in the breeze and he slid down a wooden slope before grabbing onto a metal bar to slow himself to a stop.

Y/n: Almost fell there. .
