Day 3

Jennie would never forget the day Roseanne let him go with her and even allowed him to get close to her, she knew it was one small step for the man and one giant leap for Jennie Kim. And she was even more surprised when that same morning when she woke up she had a message from the blonde.

Rosie <3:

Hi Jennie, I just wanted to wish you a good morning.

Is this the part of life they call happiness?

The good morning text alone had cheered her up, and if she hurried, she could see Roseanne before class.

Roseanne was desperate to get to class when she collided with the brunette.

—Rosie —the blonde smiled at the nickname— Are you okay?

—Me? The question is if you're okay, I crashed into you Jennie.

"I feel much better now that I've seen you," Jennie said, showing her gummy smile to someone other than her mom for the first time.

She has a nice smile. Stop it, think of the Roseanne class.

"Can I walk you to class?" a shy Jennie asked.

—Sure, you can, Jennie.

Although it was surprising for many to see them walking together, since they had never seen them interact. They couldn't deny that they looked good with each other, there were some murmurs, but no one paid attention, at that moment it was just Roseanne and Jennie.

The blonde stopped when they reached the door of her living room and turned to look closely at the brunette with the intention of saying goodbye.

—I think it's time for me to come in.

—Rosie, I-I wanted to know if you wanted to have lunch with me today —Jennie looked at the floor as she said this, she didn't know how the blonde would react to what she said. She was afraid of being rejected.

She is tender, very tender even though I didn't try it.

—Jennie, of course, I want to have lunch with you today.

The brunette began to jump with excitement, not caring about the number of people watching her. She looked at the blonde once more and hugged her.

—Thank you, thank you, I promise you won't regret it —he said while hugging her.

After her mini celebration she walked down the halls leaving a stunned Roseanne in her place due to the brunette's actions.

What just happened?

—Miss Park

She hugged me and...

—MISS PARK

That hug... Were hugs always so warm?

—MISS PARK, WOULD YOU DO ME A FAVOR AND COME INTO THE ROOM, PLEASE?

—Excuse me, Professor, yes. You just came in, excuse me again.

As classes progressed, lunchtime arrived and with it an intrigued Roseanne introduced herself. Jennie Kim couldn't deny she was trying, but it would be better to tell her that the feelings she was supposed to have developed for her... Weren't real.

Roseanne arrived at the cafeteria and immediately spotted a brunette waving at her.

“Did you expect too much, Jen?” Roseanne said, as she sat down across from Jennie.

—No, I just got here a little while ago —he reassured her, showing his gummy smile— I also took the trouble to bring a tray with lunch for you, I-I hope you like it.

The blonde smiled at her and started eating while thinking of the perfect moment to tell Jennie that her feelings weren't real.

When he had decided to start talking, he saw Jennie leaning over to take something out of her backpack.

—You know, Rosie, I saw this today and I thought of you —he said as he pulled out a rose— I want you to have it.

Roseanne's heart began to beat at the gesture, the blonde was very confused. She is supposed to love Lisa, but why when she talks to Jennie she gets that warm feeling in her chest.

—Thanks Jen, I have something to tell you.

He looked at the girl and she nodded to indicate that he could continue.

—The feelings you've developed for me aren't real, Jennie. Nothing you feel for me is real.

The brunette looked at her in surprise. Of all the things she expected to hear from Roseanne, she never thought she would say something like that. She inhaled and waited for the girl to look at her so she could respond.

—You don't know that, I know that what I feel for you is real, it's even more real when I say it. Don't try to say that what I feel isn't real, ever.

—Jennie... It's the truth, besides I... I like Lisa.

TRUE?

—Nothing is going to change that, no situation or anything, I'm sorry Jen.

Is that true? Will nothing really change it?

The brunette looked at her, feeling hurt, but she still loved Roseanne, even if it wasn't reciprocated. She stood up and left the cafeteria, not bothering to go to her next class... She wanted to be alone.

Roseanne watched her walk away and something inside her broke, she knew she had hurt her and that hurt too, but maybe; just maybe this way everything was better.

It's better this way Jen, forget about me... In 7 days everything will end for you, you will be free from those feelings that you don't want.
