Day 5

The smell of pancakes woke Roseanne up, that's when she realized how hungry she really was. She had fallen asleep after concluding that she liked Jennie.

I like Jennie.

He looked at the time, it was almost 11 in the morning, he had already missed one class and had another one at 2 in the afternoon.

—Well, it's time to get up —she told herself.

She hadn't brought any clothes and it would be late if she stopped by her apartment, grabbed a coffee at the cafeteria and maybe a cookie, then went straight to class. She didn't think Jennie was still at the apartment, she probably had classes to attend.

She took a minute to look around Jennie's room. It was completely tidy, she had teddy bears hanging on her bed's headboard, the walls were covered in black and purple. The simple room screamed Jennie from every angle. She left, closing the door slightly and preparing to cross the kitchen and living room to leave the apartment.

"Aren't you going to have breakfast?" said a confused brunette.

Roseanne looked up and saw her, Jennie, in the kitchen, one hand on the pan and the other on the spatula. A beautiful sight to behold, she couldn't lie.

—I thought you weren't here anymore —the blonde confessed— I was going to leave and... Are those my clothes? —she said, pointing to the bundle of clothes on the sofa.

—Yes, I went to get her this morning, I also made breakfast. Go get changed and let's have breakfast before you go to class.

The blonde nodded, grabbed her clothes and went to change. She would take advantage of breakfast to talk to Jennie, she had to clarify everything.

—Jen... About that other time... —Roseanne started, she was a little nervous, but she had to do it.

—No need Rosie... I understand.

—It's not that, I wanted to clarify something to you —the brunette looked at her confused— I told you that I liked Lisa, but it wasn't true. Yesterday I fully realized that, I wasn't sad or angry for finding out about Lisa's feelings for Jisoo, I was frustrated because I felt betrayed by my best friend —Roseanne looked directly at Jennie— Forgive me if I made you feel bad, I know that you may not want to be around me for a while and that you may even hate me.

Tears had started to well up in the blonde's eyes, she didn't want Jennie to hate her, but she wouldn't refuse if she did.

—I don't hate you

—You... Don't you hate me?

—Hate you? —she said, wiping the tears from her face— I could never hate you, Rosie.

Roseanne gave her a small smile and the brunette returned it.

They both continued with their breakfast and once finished, it was Roseanne who offered to wash the cups and plates, according to the blonde Jennie she should already be tired and needed to get ready for class.

"Can I drop you off at your class?" said a shy Jennie once she peeked into the kitchen.

Roseanne just looked at her and smiled.

—No —the brunette became sad and lowered her head— This time I'll leave you in class.

Jennie was shocked, she was about to refuse. She had a reason for not attending class, but at the same time Roseanne accompanying her to class was something she wouldn't see every day so she just nodded.

Once they reached the hallways, Roseanne followed Jennie to her class. She had offered to drop her off at class, but she didn't know where said class was. She didn't have the slightest idea about the brunette, she had to get to know her better and what better than a date for that.
