So, so much | WLW

NOTE: inspired by my favorite girl in the world

     I open the door and enter my apartment after a long day of uni and place my bag down by the front door and call out for my girlfriend. When she doesn't answer I start looking for her, confused. I find her asleep on the couch with our two kittens asleep on her chest and I grin.

     I leave them be and head to the kitchen to start making dinner. As I finish frying up the chicken I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a head lay on my shoulder. I glance to the side and see my girlfriend with her eyes closed resting on my shoulder.

     "Hey love," I whispers quietly.

     "Hi baby," she responds in a sleepy voice, that's just as quiet as mine. 

     "Dinner's almost ready my love, wanna feed the kids?"

     She nods and heads over to the cabinet with the cat bowls and cat food and reaches up to grab two bowls and a can of wet food. She puts the food in the bowls and puts the bowls down on the floor and calls out for the kittens. I hear the bells on their collars jingle as they jump down from the table they had crawled up on and run to their food. I plate the chicken and pasta and place it down on the dining table before coming up behind her and hugging her, placing a gentle kiss on the back of her neck. 

     We sit down to eat and talk about our days. Once we finish eating we pack any leftovers to have as lunch tomorrow, and do the dishes and washing up. I open up a few windows for some fresh autumn air as she sits on the couch and turns on the tv. I sit down next to her and crawl under her arms to lay on her chest. I hear the tell-tale jingle of our kittens' bells before I feel their little paws walking up my back before they lay down and fall asleep. 

     I exchange slow, lazy, kisses with her as the tv plays some old sitcom we've seen a hundred times. I smile at her before nuzzling my face against her neck and placing feather-light kisses to her skin. 

     "I love you so much," I murmur against her skin before biting down on her neck playfully.

     She lets out a small yelp, and I giggle at the noise, before she retaliates by pinching my sides causing me to squeal and squirm and making out kittens jump off my back grumpily. 

     "What was that for?!" I exclaim.

     "You know what you little brat," she mumbles with amusement in her voice and mirth shining in her eyes.

     "Whatever do you mean?" I giggle and bat my eye lashes at her, trying to play innocent.

     She flips up over on the couch so she hovers over me and raises her eyebrow. I blush deeply and avoid making eye contact. She smirks and tilts my chin up to look her in her eyes.

     "Oh what, you all shy now baby?" She teases.

     My blush deepens as I attempt to stammer out a response.

     "Use your words baby," she smirks.

     I huff and pout at her response and she leans down to kiss me, causing me to grin.

     "There's that smile I love," she mumbles against my lips. I roll my eyes playfully before pulling her down for another kiss.

     "I love you. So, so much." I whisper against her lips.

     She smiles before whispering back, "I love you too baby. So, so much."
