Hello there everyone! I don't normally put author's notes, but I just want to apologise for this one being a little bit shorter than the usual 3500-5000 word chapters, I had stuff to get to and I just thought the place I left the chapter was a good one. Enjoy! :)

Students pile into the Divination classroom, and Trelawny paces slowly around them as they get settled in their seats around the circular centre. The twins had wanted to take Muggle Studies again that year, but Y/n had convinced them to take Divination with her because she's 'obsessed with the stars.'
"As you all come into the classrooms, I want you to clear your minds," she says. "I hope you have all been writing in your journals, as I instructed."
Y/n looks down at the ball in front of her. She has a spotty memory when it came to dreams, and she has only written down the ones that weren't nightmares about Fred and George. The older woman has made no notes of importance when it comes to her dream journal, which she is extremely grateful for. Mostly saying things like 'looks like your grades next week will fall,' or 'you haven't been sending enough owls to Angelina.' She didn't pay much attention after her grades turned out perfectly the following week and her and Angelina laughed about the silliness of sending owls to your roommate.
"Crystal-gazing requires that you clear the Inner Eye. Only then, will you...See." Trelawny peers over Y/n's shoulder as she tries to make out anything at all in her crystal ball.
"Did you hear Hermione left in the middle of class yesterday?" Fred whispers as she continues on to the other students.
"She got tired of it. I don't blame her," Y/n replies. "The woman was constantly on her back about how terrible she was. It must have been exhausting." She sighs and rubs her head. A headache has been bugging her the entire day. "I'm so glad to be under her radar."
"I'm surprised she hasn't said anything about your nightmares," George says, and Y/n shirks away a bit.
"I haven't—I haven't exactly been writing those down." She pulls the book from her bag underneath her seat and flips through it lazily. "I don't want to know all the ways they could get worse. I've been writing all the boring ones. Not like I can even remember them very well, anyway. I feel kind of bad for her though. Everyone seems to either take everything she says literally or treats her like she's a joke. I just—she confuses me, most times."
"The poor lass." Fred rests his chin on his hand. "I've put in a couple of my real dreams, but other than that it's been stuff I've made up. I can't really remember my dreams, either. But who can?"
"Her, apparently."

Later, as Y/n gathers up her things, Trelawny approaches her. The twins are waiting outside, having already gathered their things.
"Miss Y/n, was it?"
The girl looks up from where she is stuffing an herbology book into her bag.
"Yes, Professor?"
"I'd like to talk to you about your dream journal." So much for staying under the radar. "I don't think you're writing everything."
"I'm sorry?"
"Your dreams. You are not being honest about them. This will prevent you from opening your Inner Eye."
"I'm writing down everything I remember, Professor." It isn't a complete lie—at the very least, she hasn't been making up anything like Harry said he'd been.
"I'm going to be taking a closer look at your work next week. I expect better."
Face scrunched in confusion and irritation, Y/n gathers up her things and leaves the classroom, catching up with Fred and George.
