TO SEE YOU AGAIN.
(season 1)—
NOTHING MUCH SEEMED to have happened after the walkie talkie call, lori made some improvements in getting amy to calm down but it wasn't enough, just hearing shane come out with the whole, her sister being dead, being gone, was really getting to her head and people could see that. not just those who communicated more than others but those who chose to stay back, have their own little area and do things, even they noticed. everyone's taken in observation skills, it was only natural.
it wasn't just amy feeling down in the depths of hell either, there were others. families and friends of those who too went went andrea into the city, risking their lives and they were in doubt of great shapes.shane was way too straightforward for his own good, not even the slightest pint of comfort or assurance came from the man whenever things came to the worst. yeah, they were trapped, the people in that clothing store complex were stuck but they weren't dead, some smarter than others and that's the advantage. never wanting to get the hopes up in the world but to at least have the slightest bite of it, to feel and to know that there's a chance they could be making their way back here right now, as we speak.
not like that will ever be vibrant from the man, he lived up to being the so called leader, acted it. a little too much, but ava was a kid, she saw things differently to adults. she just saw a man trying to do his job, an officer, with a strict attitude and she hated to admit how much the attitude petrified her. and now guns were commonly used. again, she was just a kid, not used to all the serious talk and murder, how natural it had become that she should've just gotten used to it by now. she knew that at some point, apart from the scavenging sides of things, she'd have to participate in keeping this group safe. once she was a little older, she'd need the common use of knowing how to use a gun.
but right now, dale won't even let her near any of them, not even to pick up and inspect.
it made plenty of sense on dale's end, this was his granddaughter, the only known family member he knew was alive, healthy and right before him. with him. he wasn't going to let some stupidity of allowing her to hold a gun, potentially end her little life. mentally sighing, there it is. thinking the worst out of every situation but who could blame anyone. you would do, the worlds gone to shit and it's nothing but food for the walking dead to feed on. which makes anyone wonder, what happens after they'd eaten a being? consumed them whole.
do these walkers get stronger? do they become more smart as time progresses or does eating flesh simply not do anything to them, it's just a food, like an apple or maybe even a burger. do they keep to being lingering corpses until food comes to spare their starvation? there were so many questions, many. and this was only just the beginning, there'd been no evolution yet. if there ever were to be one. neither had the world developed around this whole apocalypse either.
