Lena: Why dont you stay with me?
The creatures smirk faded and he started to glare at her.
Creature: What? Youre insane.
Lena: Okay then bye
Creature: Why would you wanna take me in? I could kill you at any moment really.
Lena: But yet youre here like a lost puppy in my house..
Creature: Im not a lost puppy. Stop treating me like that.
Lena: Then admit it, you need a place to stay.
The creature gives a look of defeat and frusturation, sitting down on the sofa.
Creature: Fine. I need a place to stay.. but only for a while. I just need to get better. So i can hopefully get back out there.
Lena: Okay, then you can stay here.
Creature: Why are you helping me?
Lena: Im just.. curious I guess. And you seem.. nice. I could use company.
Creature: Company? Youre here by yourself
Lena: Just me yeah. My parents are gone for a few months.
Creature: What? How old are you
Lena: 19. Um.. how old are you?
Creature: I dont really have an age, Ive been around for a while.
Lena: I thought skinwalkers are supposed to shapeshift into animals or something, why are you um.. not.
He gave me a deadpan look as if he was annoyed, but hey I was just trying to make conversation.
Creature: Yeah they do, but this is my skinwalker form. Its almost like an entity. I havent shifted in a while. It kind of hurts to.
Lena: Maybe you need some energy. Here..
I grabbed a slice of pizza and handed it to himHe looked at me like I was the psycho one and gave me a disgusted expression.
Creature: What is this? Human food
Lena: Its pizza, try it
He took a cautious bite of the pizza, i saw his multiple jagged teeth and weird tongue and it made me shiver. He looked unwell. He chewed like a psychopath and it made me almost laugh because it was like watching a toddler eat. I waited for his reaction. His eyes lit up slightly and he examined the slice.
Creature: This is pretty.. decent.
Lena: Youre welcome.
Creature: I still dont understand you.
Lena: Congrats!
Creature: Ive never met a human who hasnt run from me.. Youre... odd
Lena: How many times are we gonna go over this jeez
The creature rolled his eyes at me. Sass queen much?
Creature: It just doesnt make sense that you would be willing to house me for no reason.
Lena: Um excuse me, theres obviously a condition.
He groaned and growled, turning to me waiting for the condition.
Lena: I have a lot on my plate.. I say walking around the living room. And with me helping you.. you have to help me. So. You have to come to classes with me, help me, and help me do my homework
Creature: eughh what the! I dont know how to do human stuff! Im a skinwalker!
Lena: Blah and blah! Youre under my roof my rules!
