He didn't know what to do now. They had all gone, abandoned him, even though he knew no one had ever truly loved him. Still, he had tried.

"I tried. Why does this always happen to me?" he muttered silently. He was Peter Parker, but he was also Spider-Man. He stood at the edge of a skyscraper over fifty stories high, looking down. The rain fell from the dark night sky, but he didn't care.

His suit was in a terrible state from his last battle with his greatest enemy-someone who was once his friend, or so he had tried to convince himself.

The last person in his family had now died, and he blamed himself. The same thoughts kept circling in his head: if he had never put on the suit, they would all still be alive. His life wouldn't have turned out this way. Now, he had nothing left.

His body was battered, bruised, and in pain.

But his physical pain couldn't compare to the pain in his heart. Since the day he lost his uncle, he had tried to do the right thing because doing the wrong thing had cost his uncle his life. But in the past 12 years, all he had done was the right thing.

And yet, all the people close to him had abandoned him, and now they were all gone. His life was empty and hollow now. He had nothing left.

The police wanted to arrest him just for trying to save the city, and Otto had made everything worse.

Jameson wanted to destroy him and blamed him for everything that seemed to go wrong. S.H.I.E.L.D. wanted to imprison him because he was a threat to New York, thanks to Maria Hill.

The women who had once vowed to stay with him had abandoned him.

He still remembered when Felicia Hardy, known as Black Cat, left him, saying she only loved the mask and the thrill of excitement, not Peter Parker. He later discovered that she had been in a relationship with Daredevil the entire time they were together.

He found out when he saw them kissing on a rooftop in New York, and to make matters worse, she had also been involved with Logan.

Or the time Mary Jane Watson left him at the altar to travel and film a movie.

Let's not forget Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, who left him after she lost her memories due to Hydra and called herself Nancy.

When she regained her memories, he found himself discarded like trash. She claimed she never loved him-he wasn't even her type-and started a relationship with Captain America.

Of course, he couldn't forget to mention these women without bringing up Carol.

She had started with him, eventually becoming his fiancée, only to leave him for a trip across space with the Guardians of the Galaxy, not even saying goodbye.

He waited for years, keeping the ring on, only for her to return and find that she had forgotten about him and had been with others during her time away from Earth. Upon her return, she dated Rhodey.

Before becoming his fiancée, she had been a drunk, addicted to alcohol, and he had helped her through that phase.

In the end, he discovered that she had been jealous of him because he was Spider-Man. If she had known his life had been hell since getting his powers, she wouldn't have been.

But what about the worst of them? He could never forget Gwen Stacy, who had betrayed him with his worst enemy.

She had cheated on him with Norman Osborn, and even became pregnant with his children, who later tried to kill him. Even though she knew Norman was the Green Goblin.

It's almost laughable because, in the end, she died at his hands when he threw her off a bridge, leaving her a bloody stain.

He blamed himself for years until the Goblin confessed everything to him. He didn't believe it at first, but after some research, he discovered the truth. It crushed him, just like everything else, despite his attempts to move on.
