After loving and telling the kids bye, Trevor and I were on our way to Austin. I've never been. Trevor has been there once and that was for his bachelor party. Needless to say, I'm excited and nervous. I've heard many stories about that place. By the looks of it though, we'll be staying in the good part of Austin.
I glanced over at Trevor's hand and sighed. His knuckles were scraped up and turning purple. "Why didn't you stop me from accusing you of hitting Aurora?"
"Would you have listened at the moment?" He asked.
I shook my head, "No. probably not."
"That's why. It hurts me deeply that you would think that I would ever lay my hand on her. I would never hit my kids, and you should know that."
"I do know that. But answer me this. If it was vice versa, would you have assumed the same thing?"
He got quiet for a couple of minutes and finally answered me. "Yeah. I suppose I would."
"Now do you see why I wouldn't correct you?"
"Yes, Trevor. I'm still sorry though. I'll make it up to you anyways I can." I told him. I hate that I accused him of something he didn't do. But how everything played out seriously made me think the worse.
"No need. Let's just listen to music and try to get to the hotel."
I laid my head against the seat and yawned. It was 3:30 in the morning and I was tired. I know checkin is normally at three pm, but Craig paid extra to let us check in early. I swear he's a great boss.
I closed my eyes, listening to some old country song that Trevor chose and drifted to sleep.
"Bryn, get up. We're here." Trevor shook me gently. I yawned and opened my eyes.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to sleep all the way here." I muttered as I got out of the truck.
"It's cool. I'd like to check in and take a shower before I have to leave for class." Trevor grabbed our suitcases and stood by the back of the truck, waiting on me. I grabbed my other bag from the backseat and threw my wallet in there.
"Well let's go check in then." I told him.
I couldn't help but look around at all of my surroundings. Nothing too great about them. It felt like the buildings were just squeezed in together, like they couldn't give more room for comfort.
"Sorry sir, but check in is at 3. You'll have to come back then." The front desk lady told him.
"No maam. We paid extra to check in early. Grant." Trevor crossed his arms.
The lady started typing away and coughed quietly. "Sorry sir. Here are your keys and coupons for breakfast. I hope y'all enjoy your stay!" She finished off a little too enthusiastically.
We walked onto the elevator and leaned against the back as the doors shut.
My eyes moved to Trevor. He was such a handsome man. His blonde wavy hair was a bit more messy, like he kept running his hand through it. His green eyes were closed at the moment. His normally sharp facial features seemed like they were even sharper now. Probably because he was stressing over this week.
The elevator dinged and we walked out.
After finally making it to our room, Trevor threw our things on the bed, got clothes out of his bag and strode to the bathroom. After hearing the shower turn on, I turned and placed my bag on the chair that was by the corner. I sat down on the huge bed - what do they call it? A California king or something like that? - and sighed. After Trevor leaves then I can  go back to bed and catch up on some sleep.
I took my shoes off and relaxed against the headboard. I took a look around the room. It really wasn't that big but I'm not complaining. When you walked into the room, the right leads to the bathroom and the left is a big mirror. Then walking more into the room, to the left is the bed with two nightstands and to the right is a long desk with a tv hanging on the wall and then directly in front of the door is a huge wall window.
The shower cut off and after a moment, Trevor walked out in his boxers, looking refreshed. I definitely was eye fucking him. I looked at the time and smiled.
"Hey Trevor, it's only 7:15." I stood up, smiling, and walked over to him. I ran my hands down his bare chest, delighted that it was still damp. He suddenly turned away from me.
"I'm not in the mood." He grabbed his clothes and went back to the bathroom. Well that's a damn turnoff. Well what the hell ever. I crawled into bed and covered up.
Ten minutes later, Trevor came out of the bathroom, grabbed his things and left. Without telling me bye or kissing me. I'm upset. No. I'm hurt more than anything. Maybe the way he's acting is because of last night. I feel like such an idiot. I groaned and closed my eyes. I'm just not going to worry about it right now. For now, I'm just going to roll over and go to sleep.
