Inspiration taken from 0umen0 over on AO3, please read their work it's amazing omg. Non-gender specific pronouns for Reader, gore, cannibalism. Allusions to disassociative reactions to death from Reader. Pov switch. (Second person to third person.) Does it count as cannibalism if you're no longer human? Kind of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde situation? Trying out a new writing style.

"Look at me, I know you're up."
Eye contact. We either love it or hate it, right? Fun fact, one can use it to psychologically cause one to feel uncomfortable, or as an authoritative tactic. Pair that habit with pure sarcasm, snark, and (playful I swear) berating, you get, none other than the infamous; Sebastian fucking Solace. Three eyes too many, and a weird liking to causing you to squirm, even if it's mentally. What a guy, ladies, gays and theys. Definitely one to continue hanging out with out of your own volition.
Wait, I've gotten ahead of myself, where were we? Ah, of course, boredom in paradise. By paradise I mean hell. By hell I mean the Hadal Blacksite, specifically Sebastian's shop. Boy don't we love this overused location because there's not really any other location to use. Silence filled with static endowed radio spittle, the aquatic behemoth counting his stock over and over, Anglers in the distance grating your ears, Expendables to falsely grin toward. "E. Stock run." You grumble and groan in resistance, and laziness. "Cry me a river. Get off your behind, let's go." You don't immediately get up, and he poked at your side until you relented. "Fine, fine, I'm up!"
Since you were amongst the Expendables beforehand, Sebastian knew you were familiar with the layout of the Blacksite, and trusted you to gather supplies by yourself, then rendezvous at a later point with all the stock you gathered. Pretty calm for you, now rid of the uniform, and any consequential smell of human that lingered on the Urbanshade mandated clothing. Anglers didn't target you, but of course, you still hid out of reflex. Still had the habit of establishing safe spots, safe rooms, locker locations. Which does prove useful for Pandemonium, but you travel through vents if the opportunity does arise, so it's really no worry. Wall Dweller? Assume they'd try. You chose to move through Heavy Containment, while Seb moved backwards through the Pipe Rooms and Gardens. Heavy Containment held more loot, anyway, so it was with happy claws that you weaved through the giant steel doors to gather supplies. Secret documents you snagged along the way.
Barely missed A-60.
Greeted Painter when you saw him.
You hid from a team of bickering prisoners that came through your room, listening from a closed vent.
"That fish guy can fuck off, honestly. I hear so many people back at base saying how sweet he is, I hate him." One of them ranted, earning a slight sideye from one of the women. "He always makes fun of me whenever I die, or have one piece of data too little. Hell, can he stop shooting me!?"
"I'm telling you, I could take him in a fight, all with his GeT OuT bullshit-" One rowdy male half shouted.
"Shut up, shut the fuck up, you guys hear something?" A woman spoke. The lights flickered.
"What?" Another, younger, male piped.
"Pfft- bye, this is mine!" You heard one push his teammate aside and jump into a locker early, biting back a giggle at the dumbassary and brashness of the action. The other three scrambled for lockers or safe rooms. One accidentally jumped into an infested locker, and was cruelly left to die by their teammates. Tsk tsk. The other two also got in too early. Last one tried running ahead.
Too bad for them, it was the lovingly slow and panic-inducing Chain smoker. All four of their bodies smeared the heavy steel flooring after he went by, the last one you heard running forward. Eagerly, you slithered out of your hiding spot to grab any supplies they held on them, two medkits, 4 codebreachers, hand ranked flashlight, Wall Dweller flesh . . . Sebastian has told you tales that some will buy this chalky compound from the shop to earn badges.
