Author note: Dialogue heavy chapter, barely any mentions of Reader other than passing conversation. Feel free to skip this chapter if you'd like, it's basically filler. Allusion to cannibalism, gore, blood, aggressive behaviour.

Additional note: Guys I'm not doing kinktober, it's so difficult to write smut how TF do other authors do it????

Sebastian feels a sense of unease around you after what happened a few days ago, or, rather, what he doesn't know happened. But the blood in your teeth and the look in your eyes were undeniable, concrete evidence of something he's concerned about.

Regrettably, who better to ask, than one who controls the cameras? Our Saboteur heads into the server rooms while you sleep in his (closed, don't worry) shop. Determined to find a certain pixel pal, a television telepath, digital diva if you will. Painter himself. Sat on his little table in rest mode.

"Painter."

The mentioned individual powers back up.

"Sebastian."

"Anything I should know?"

"Well, see, that's an open ended question. Should you know that some Expendables think you're a dick, they're absolutely correct about it, but should you? Should you know that Urbanshade purposefully changes the radio channels to prevent you from getting in-"

"What happened-" Sebastian bangs at the gate in front of Painter's room, "a few days ago, with E? Do you have something to say that I don't already know?" His claws bend and buckle the flimsy metal, denting forward with his weight, teeth bared. "Or do you feel the need for a screen replacement?"

"Jesus, calm down, fish face. You mean to tell me they didn't run crying to you after?" The sentient AI seems confused at something, something unbeknownst to Sebastian, who grows further irate with each second that his question isn't answered. "I'm surprised, usually all they talk about is you."

"Hurry up, Painter." The fence creaks in protest with the heavy impact upon it.

"Charming." The computer responds. "A few days ago, when you two were looting the building-"

"Stock run." Seb corrects.

"Looting the building," an artificial breath was taken by an unbreathing machine, "E hid from a few Expends, shocker, I know. Uh, some dumb conversation about how much they hated you. You know- people really don't like you, maybe you should think about that."

"Get," An aquatic abomination steps back from the breaking fence, "to the point." His tail unceremoniously slashed a server box in annoyance.

"When you consider some introspection, I might. I'm just looking out for my favourite shark bait." Sarcasm is his paint, I concur, and he is a skilled craftsman of his diction. His chuckle is glitched short at another electric burst from the inflicted force of Sebastian's tail. "Ahem, apologies."

"Not accepted."

"So, Chains fly by, the Expends are dead, lights are off, the whole shebang. E comes out of their hiding spot, and just when they start walking- or slithering, I guess, back, they stop. Now, at first, I thought they stopped because of the Dweller, but then they just stood still and stared at the bodies." His rant falls solemn when he notices the hard glare from Sebastian.

"And what happened, after?" The voice is low, seeping into the cold, and his eyes squint.

"Well . . . When the lights turned on, E was kneeled down at one of 'em."

"I got what I needed." Seb heard enough. He turns abruptly and slams the door closed.
