Lucas tries to keep his feelings hidden, but every day it becomes harder to ignore Gabriel's presence. During a biology class, they are assigned as partners for a project. Gabriel, surprisingly friendly and outgoing, starts to make conversation, making Lucas uncomfortable. For the first time, they exchange more than a few polite words. Lucas feels his heart racing and tries to hide his nervousness, but Gabriel notices the tension and jokes, putting Lucas more at ease.
However, something unexpected happens: Marina, who has always been by Lucas's side, begins to notice something strange in his behavior. She insists that Lucas tell her what is happening, but he continues to be evasive. That same night, Lucas writes in his diary again, confessing that being around Gabriel has only increased his confusion and that he is afraid that his feelings will be discovered.
