Chapter 4 Warped

Map: Silver mall

Jard heaved his foot across the hard tile floor
Each step felt heavy feeling like he was dragging stone.
Bobo followed closely he skipped along humming a song Jard didn't recognize.

Bobo slowed down to stay at Jards slow pace,"Jard where are we going?"His eyes glitterd with curiosity.

Jard took a long pause before answering the child's question, "We're going to..."He stopped before continuing,"Miss Lillith..."Jard wished he never had to speak those words out, but it slipped out before he can catch it.

Bobo eyes widened,"You mean the lady who dichted us and stole the thing we worked so hard to get but ended up losing it because life is never fair and we are all nothing worth anything special?"He smiled, still staring at him.

Jard gave a concern and looked at the child before giving a slight nod.

"He's right in a way."Jard knew that Lillith wasn't the most trusted person he knew, but he had some hopes otherwise.

They treaded forwards, not really knowing where they were going.

Jard called the number on Lillith card earlier this morning, but before he could do that, he had to rummage through the trashcan he threw it in.
She picked up the call and spoke to Jard, telling him that her place was at Silver Mall before immediately hanging up.

Jard paused to look around in an attempt to find Lilith place but to no avail.
His eyes focused on Bobo as he skipped around the mall, jumping happily.
Jard never understood how he was always well, not always, but most of the time, so positive.When he felt like he was thrown in the dump.

Bobo squealed in delight.
Jard head snapped up to find him jumping in glee.

"Jaaaaaard secret door!!!"Bobo jumped up and down, clapping his hands.He jumped happily at a green wall that seemed normal to Jards eye.

"Isn't that convenient."Jardwas not convinced in the slightest.

Bobo pushed at the wall, and it moved slowly, opening to a hallway.
Jard eyes widened as the door let out a loud screech.

"Wait!Bobo!"Jard tried grabbing him but missed entirely.
Bobo ran right in and disappeared through the doors.

Jard fell onto the hard tiles before jolting up towards the passage way. Jard stared inside the hallway it slowly twisted and turned, disorienting Jards eyes.It revealed a twisting purple portal as it spinned around.

"Ahh yes, of course Lillith would make her lair have a portal."Jard said with an unamused tone.

He was hesitant before jumping in and disappeared into the warping passage.

The world swirled around Jard he felt as if reality had collapsed on him.
Jard felt drowsy as the world enclosed in darkness.

"Wakey wakey!"Jard heard a familiar voice as someone's finger jabbed at his face.

"Wh-what?"Jard eyes opened heavily as he saw to figures looming over him one was purple while the other was light blue.
Jard eyes finally unjusted to a clearer vision.

"Hi Jard."It was Bobo who sqeaked out.He had an amused smile on his face.

"It's been a good bloody second.I almost thought you were dead!"Lillith stood close by Bobo also staring down at Jard.

Jard finally started to realize where he was.He was on a red therapy couch of some sort in a dark room with only a soft candle nearby that letter out a soft yellow glow.
