A bouquet of red spider lilies was brought by Suzy to visit her step-sister. She had a big smile plastered on her lips, it didn't look genuine but sneered.

Suzy walked on the corridor leading to her room. The clicking of her heels echoes through the corridor. She looked like an excited psychopath who was eager to meet her prey.

Arrived at her door, Suzy didn't even bother to knock and just swung the door open. The people inside the room turned their heads toward the door as the uninvited guest made a loud entrance.

"Who?" Andreas asked while still looking at Suzy, the unfamiliar face. The face he had never seen before, through the years he knew Jamee. But he could see a resemblance of the two women.

"Sister, I brought you some flowers." Suzy walked towards the bed and James quickly jumped out of his seat and strode towards her to stop her from coming any closer.

"Ex-husband! It's so good to see you again. I missed you," Suzy smirked up upon being face to face with James.

"Who told you to come here?" James asked intimidatingly. He was not happy to see her and sure as hell she was up to something. She wouldn't just come up to the hospital without a plan.

Suzy smirked up and inched closer to him. He pushed her away before she got closer. He was far from being friendly welcoming her unexpected visit.

"Take it. This is my present for my lovely sister over there." Suzy pointed her chin towards Jamee who lay in bed. Because James made no move to take it, Suzy shoved the bouquet to him in annoyance.

"Who brings spider lilies to visit someone at the hospital?" Andreas asked, commenting on her choice of flowers. She was one of a kind, in a bad way.

"That would be me, Suzy Blakemore. You are?" Suzy extended her hand after introducing herself to him.

"Obgyn, Andreas D'Vasillo." He took her hand out of friendliness. But he frowned when he felt her seductively squeezing his hand. He quickly retreated his hand and understood her intention right away.

"Did you tell father?" Jamee asked. All she could think about was her father. If he found out, she was afraid it would only worry him.

"Did I tell father? About you being in the hospital? Why? So, he sympathizes with you and gives you everything he has? I'd rather watch you die all alone," Suzy said bitterly. She scoffed, knowing that Jamee cared about their father genuinely.

"Without Jamee being in the hospital, he already decided to give her everything. Because she is the true heiress, not you," James stepped in to defend his woman. He would not let her or anyone belittle his woman anymore. This time, he would protect his family no matter what came to him in the way. He wouldn't care much about other people now. He would fight and be the shield they needed.

"That's why I'm here, ex-husband. To never have her get what she wants," she said angrily. Now, she was showing her true intention in front of everyone.

"Stop shouting, my daughter doesn't want to see a madman here," James said while glaring at her.

"Your what?" Because her view of the hospital bed was blocked by James. Suzy only got to see Jamee's face and didn't realize someone was sleeping next to her.

"Our daughter," James repeated.

"You have a little bastard now? You're going to use it to get his inherited, right? So, you're a sneaky little thing, aren't you?" Suzy was mad, probably fuming knowing the fact that they had a child. Her eyes were shooting daggers at Jamee.

"Die, you little piece of shit!" Suzy screamed and strode towards Jamee, her hands were up in the air like she was going to strangle her. But of course, James stopped her before she had a chance to touch his woman.

James pushed her hard until she lost her balance and fall on her butt. He didn't care if it hurt her, she was the one who was being aggressive. So, no, he didn't regret pushing her away or even he hurt a woman, Suzy was an exception. He would hurt her without thinking twice as she was categorized as as a madman.

Then, James walked up to her and grabbed her arm. He got her up and dragged her out of the room.

"Watch them for me until I get back," James said to Andreas before he left the room. He was going to handle her again. She would not back down so easily, it seemed.

"That is your sister?" Andreas pointed out to the door where Suzy and James had gone through.

"Yes, same father," Jamee replied. Her hand was still patting her daughter's butt as a lullaby. Fio was so active and played all day, now she was all drowned out and fast asleep.

"Such a different personalities. I guess, her mother is the problem for her to have that attitude," he said. He still couldn't believe the act she pulled just a while ago on him.

"Her mother was not present. She lived with father all this time."

"So, that's why she's fighting with you over inheritance. She was by his side all these while and you, who just showed up took all the fortunes. She felt threatened, didn't she?" Andreas looked at his friend who looked chill and didn't get bothered by it.

"Even though she lives with father, she is living her own world. Father said he felt lonely, that's why he never gave up looking for me," Jamee explained. Little by little, she was opening up about her lost family. Because it meant so much to her to find out she still had family left in this world. That was all she wanted.

"Who's your father anyway?" Andreas asked out of curiosity. If they were fighting over his wealth, that meant he had a name on himself.

"Marsello Blakemore," she replied. Andreas and Sierra gasped upon finding out who their father was. "Are you guys okay?" She looked confused seeing their reaction. What was wrong with her father?

"Are we okay, you ask?" Andreas spoke in disbelief. He looked at Jamee like she had gone crazy or she was just that innocent.

"Yeah."

"Do you even know who your father is? No wonder your step-sister was so persistent to get his fortunes."

"He's my father, of course." Andreas almost smacked his forehead hearing her response.

"Of course, he is," he said sarcastically and rolled his eyes. Sierra calmed him down while holding back a smile, finding their conversation amusing.
