Hera told Kanan about what she saw during her exam and he was shocked and amazed at how many more catlike features he had hiding. Did he even know how different he was? This was going to make for a very difficult conversation. Telling an insecure teenager that they're different? Yeah doesn't always go over well. They waited a few hours until they figured Ezra had calmed down a little, they left him alone just to be safe. He had been sulking and pouting in the main room. Sabine and Zeb and Chopper had been doing repairs so he thankfully was left to mope undisturbed. Kanan realized he couldn't put this off forever. He walked into the main room with the library book in hand. Ezra grumbled in his chest and turned away. Kanan smiled slightly and sighed softly, finally getting the courage to walk towards him and sit down next to him. Ezra huffed heavily and turned away as he folded his arms.

"Here. Truce?" Kanan pulled out a popsicle. Ezra tried to hide his immediate interest but glanced over, nonchalantly taking it from him without looking directly at him.

"You're not gonna poke and prod me too now are you?" He snorted as he started to open the wrapper.

"Oh yeah." Kanan scoffed sarcastically and rolled his eyes. "Cause all I totally wanna do is stick a finger down your throat and stab your tonsils."

"You what to my what!?" Ezra whirled around with a disgusted and mortified look on his face.

"Kid!" Kanan couldn't help but start laughing. "I was only joking, don't look at me like that."

Ezra gave him an uncomfortable and slightly creeped out look and scooted away from him a bit, "Yeah, that's not funny Kanan." He finished opening the popsicle and popped it in his mouth, not feeling comfortable enough to talk yet. Kanan could tell so he decided to be the one to start taking first.

"Ezra.... There are things I need to tell you, things you should know, and I need you to really listen to me, ok?" Kanan's tone was serious and Ezra looked at him, curious but concerned. "There's a lot I have to teach you about the Force, but first, I have to teach you about yourself."

Ezra was confused and took the popsicle out of his mouth, "About myself? Kanan, I know who I am."

"But do you know what you are?"

"A Jedi?"

"Well, maybe one day."

"Uhh, I'm just a guy I guess. A teenager."

"Yes, what else?"

"A human?"

"Well, sort of."

"What do you mean, sort of." Ezra furrowed his brow, he was starting to feel a little lost. Kanan sighed, this was harder than he thought, he put the book down on the table. Ezra blinked, "What's that, a history book?"

"We found this in the library back on Lothal. We think it's something you should see." Ezra looked at Kanan and felt a little unsure. "It's ok. Open it." Ezra finished the popsicle and swallowed nervously, reaching out to open the book. The first page he opened to showed a drawing of humans with animal like features doing Jedi techniques.

"What is this?" Ezra asked, his voice was tense and dry from his nerves.

"This book talks about the legend of the Jedi who used to live on Lothal centuries ago. These Force wielders were very close to nature and even held animalistic traits." He pointed at one of the drawings. "For example this one had wings like an ancient bird and could fly." He pointed to another. "Some even had the ability to shift into animals, like this one whose morphing into a wolf. Or this one, who has Lothcat teeth and claws." Kanan touched Ezra's lips above where his fangs would be.

Ezra raised a hand to his face to look at his nails and flexed his fingers as he tried to process all this information, "Soooo...... You're telling me, I'm a Jedi that's part Lothcat?"
