Prologue

I was busy minding my own business when I suddenly got a called from our big boss, it was a new job so I prepared myself already.

"Are you prepared to do a quick job, Amelia?" he asked.

"Well prepared, sir, what is it?" I asked.

"You need to find the files in Mercedez Company, the files can help us. This files is important so you need to play safe, they were having a party later so we have time to set up a mic and camera. We only have 40 minutes to set up so I'll give a lot of backup to help you to set up, I already scan their company and I already knew where their camera was." he seriously said.

"Mercedez? Gergiona's Company?" I asked.

"Yes, I bet she was doing some illegal stuffs behind. Her company was big and known as the most successful company and everyone knew how smart she is, no one can fool her so you need to be careful." he said.

"Kailan ba ako pumalpak?" I sarcastically said.

"This is the reason why you're the one I picked." I can hear his chuckled.

"Sent me the file names and the location, I'll just get change." I seriously said.

I can feel his nod before he end the call, I prepared myself by putting my weapon around my body. I put a knife on my legs and also my gun, I put my small earbuds on my ear and I already wore my camera jacket and after that I already put my mic.

I fixed everything and when I got a message from our big boss, I immediately went out to my office and run to the elevator. I clicked the button to the emergency room and after that I wait for a minute.

When the elevator open, I grab my car keys on the pinboard and clicked the red alarm button to let others or my backup know that we have a quick job.

I went straight to my car with Gio, Jaxon, and Mellizza. They were here to help me spy, they are my other eyes too. I turned the engine on and remind them to put their sitbealt on before I fastly drove my car.

"It was dangerous, Amelia, why did you still agree to do this?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Mellizza.

"Don't worry about me, I can do this." I smirked.

"I know but Gergiona was smart, Amelia, she's more than smart than you. You can't just fool her by your words, what if she killed you?" she seriously asked, getting more worried about me.

"If I died, then I died." I sarcastically said.

"Your sister was right, it was dangerous, Amelia." Gio seriously said.

"Let me win this case, I wanted to prove more to our boss." I said.

"Did you even think about this? About you risking your life just so you can finally prove more something to our boss?" singit ni Gio.

"You prove enough, Amelia. Think of yourself." ani ni Jaxon.

"Pinakialaman ko ba kayo nung kayo ang binigyan ng ganitong case?" I raised my brow.

"Wala na tayong magagawa, gustong-gusto, e." sambit ni Gio.

I gave them a small smile while they were preparing themselves inside my car, they were settling the laptop so they could monitor the whole building.

Kumuha ako ng sigarilyo sa aking case habang red light sa dinaanan namin, sinindihan ko iyon at saktong pagkatapos masindihan ay nag green light na rin.

Binuksan ko ang bintana ng sasakyan at saka ako humipak sa aking mahal na sigarilyo, sa sobrang mahal ay mapapamura ka na lang talaga.

This cigarettes is worth 10,000 and one pack lang ang mayroon. Sa mga normal lang na nabibili kung saan-saan ay 45 or 50 lang yata ang kanila.
