Once In A Life Time (Cars 2)

The Beginning of the Second Race

Me and Ranger boarded the train called Stevenson at Gare de Lyon. Stevenson drove us to Italy saying we would arrive there in 4 hours. I'm a bit bummed that we couldn't stay in France for long, but we got what we need and next is Italy. I just hope I can stay longer this time. The whole spy thing is driving me crazy, like first I died, and then I appeared in a world of cars, and now I am suspected as a spy agent. I am not even a spy, I don't have a brain of one and hell I am very clumsy. I heard Mater start to talk as the cars were rewatching a security tape, it was one pale color car surrounded by 5 black cars.

"Tomber must be right about the meeting, you rarely see this many Lemons in one place!" Mater said. "Wait, how did you two get your wheels on these?"

"Agent Holley here had reprogramed Porto Corsa's red light cameras into a recognition camera." Ranger said, Holley asked how Ranger knew that. "I'm just built differently."

"Wow, not only are you the prettiest car I've seen, but you're also the smartest, too!" Mater complimented, I smiled in aw.

"Thank you Mater." Holley smiled Mater then looked back at the screen and saw another tow truck dragging another car.

The car doesn't seem to be in anyback shape, no flat wheels or leaking oil or stuff. The car seems to be perfectly fine, just old. Mater also noticed and he pointed it out, Finn suspects that Hugo is faking it and they must be the heads of the lemon families. Mater agreed with Finn's words and wished he wouldn't be working all time and just have a break and relax.

"We have to infiltrate that meeting in Italy." I said walking to the three cars "We have to find out who is behind this... whole thing."

"Yes but how?" The Ranger asked me, "The meeting must be heavily guarded; we can't just walk in."

Everyone started to think until Holley came up with a plan that involves Mater.

"A what?" A voice asked from the phone talking to Professor Z

"A human, I took years and years of research about them. They are skinny, two legged things, no engine, no motor, and no wheels. They are made out of blood, bones and skin, and fast." Prof Z said "Two of our boys discovered a human, we planted a tracking device on them without their notice, and that human is the one that the American spy gave the camera picture to."

"... Find them, and learn about them Professor." The caller said "Don't let them interfere with our mission, the meeting will start soon, see you there."

The call then ended and Professor Z told everyone to keep an close eye on the human, nd told them to bring them alive. The small car also warned them that humans are fragile things, don't damage them. The working Lemons all nodded and return back to their work as Prof. Z was ready to go to the secret meeting.

I watched as Holley photoshopped the picture of Mater's face and merged it with the blue tow truck, it fits perfectly. They are going to make Mater a disguise of that blue tow truck, genius! Stevenson told us that we'll be at porto Corsa in one hour, by that time Holley had made a little light bulb and a machine placed it on top of Mater's head. That light bulb is the disguise control that allows Mater to change his appearance but not car type.

"So Mater it's voice activated, well everything is voice activated these days." Holley laughed, Mater was confused and started to ask a question, and once he said disguise a robot confirmed his voice and changed his tow truck design making him look almost exactly like that blue tow truck.

"Haha! Computer, make me a German truck!" Mater said and he became a German truck "haha, cool!" Mater was having so much fun that Holley and Finn gave him a tired look.

"Let's just stick with this first." Finn said pressing a button and Mater was back to that blue truck. "You remember the plan right?"

"Yeah, just pretend to be this truck." Mater said "And you guys do the rest."

"Correct." Finn said

Holley then had to make some changes, using the computer to see if they have to fix anything. The computer sensed some dents Mater had on his sides, the robot hands came over to fix the tow truck's dent to match the other blue tow truck. Mater doesn't like that as he tried to get away from the hands.

"I want to keep my dents, they are very valuable to me." Mater said, I never knew Mater loved his dents so much that he doesn't want to fix it.

"Your dents valuable?" Holley said "Really?"

Mater said that these dents remind him of his Best Friend McQueen, and he wants to keep them to remember the events the two went on. I was touched by his words, even after the fight Mater still thinks about Mcqueen, the only thing is does McQueen think about Mater? My thoughts were interrupted when Finn thought Mater was being funny. I wanted to speak up saying again Me and Mater are not spies, but Finn and Holley dismissed this, Holley said she'll work around the dents.

"In the meantime." Finn said pressing a button on the inside of the train was loaded with guns "You three look light on weapons."

"Hell yeah." Ranger said.

We started to load ourselves with guns and Range managed to store a lot. My bike is going to carry me on the whole spy mission, sounds very cool, but I think it's really going to be a life ending mission.

"You're live in the beautiful Porto Corsa, Italy where the second race of the World Grand Prix will be held." A voice said "What a beautiful place!"

The three cars in the stadium start to question Allinol, is it safe for the race cars? A screen popped up and the finder of Allinol, Miles Axlerod, claimed it's completely safe and the special scientist researched about it and he'll prove it on this race. The three cars then start to ask what everyone wants to know is will Lighting McQueen do better in this race, after all he sold on the first one. Francesco grew up on the race trail so the possibility of McQueen winning the race will be low. The Italian started to wave to everyone as the speaker announced his name and the crowd cheered.

The speaker announced McQueen's number, but the red race car didn't smile like the last race, he seemed sad. His group noticed his emotions and asked if he's alright, McQueen just felt really guilty about the things he said to Mater and oh how he wanted him to be here at the moment. The Italian race car heard this and went over to McQueen and told him how he knows what it is to feel like losing a friend.

"I think you forgot your insults for your sentence." McQueen said not believing his words, but Francesco said it's not an insult.

"I know how it feels to be away from home and I would miss mi mama, just like how you miss your tow truck amico." the Italian car said, McQueen never thought Francesco would say those words and the red car thought he missed judging the car.

"Man, I-I might have misjudged you man, because that's-"

"But of course I am at home and my mama is right here watching the race!" Francesco smiled and looked at his mother. "Don't worry mama, McQueen is very upset right now I can win the race!"

Mcqueen wasn't even surprised he knew the insult would come in sooner or later. The lights started to countdown and once it hit green everyone zoomed away, not knowing the big incidents waiting upon them.
