There isn't much to pack since she didn't bring anything, so Y/n just waited outside of Mater's room. He was writing his goodbye letter, afterall he is headed home where he won't disturb McQueen anymore. Mater felt guilty and sad, he hates making McQueen angry, as for Y/n she was pissed that McQueen would yell at Mater. The Red race car doesn't know what they went through, he doesn't know the other half of the story, and wouldn't want to hear it. Y/n didn't like how Mater feels guilty, at least he would be safe back home. As for her, Y/N and Ranger will find their way back to their world. The airport won't allow her to enter the plane and might call the police after her, or worse the FBI and spies would be hunting her down.

The door opened and a sad looking Mater came out. Y/n tried to cheer him up asking him that they can go for an ice cream stop on the way to the airport, but for once he declined it. Y/n never seen him like this, now she wants to go with him back to Radiator springs. They hit the road in the early morning, a plane ticket was already paid for Mater as Y/N also had to pitch in, another reason Y/N decided not to go. They reached the airport after 3 hours and by that time McQueen and the others found Mater's note. McQueen regretted his words to Y/n and his best friend that was with him for ages, at least Mater would be safe, oh how McQueen wants both Mater and Y/n back now.

(Y/N POV)

"Ya sure you are not coming?" Mater asked me, as I walked with him to the airport on Ranger.

"Yes Mater, I am gonna try to find a place to stay for a night and then find a way to get back to my home." I said as Ranger parked itself.

"Alright, but whenever you need me you have my number." Mater said, we exchanged phone numbers, I don't know how he will be calling me but I think cars have their ways.

"Got it, bye Mater!" I laughed giving him a strange hug and he drove into the airport, before he entered he turned around and yelled a faint bye.

"He's funny." Ranger said after a computer laugh "Where to next?"

"I am not sure I want to just go around the place and travel?" I asked Ranger, a hologram of a thumbs up was shown. "Let's get going, and maybe we can attend the next race."

I ride Ranger around the place, scaring a lot of cars on the way. I don't mind anymore, it's just very relaxing. Me and Ranger spent hours around Japan, and being able to pay for our meals was a bit difficult as the noodle shop owner was about to call the cops and we had to get out of there. As I was driving on the highway over a bridge, it reminded me of the accident of me being thrown off and falling into the ocean. Then a loud phone call hit me inside of my helmet, Ranger showed me the caller; Tow Truck Mater. Why is he calling me? Did something happen?

"Hello? Mater?" I called

"Hey Y/n, say are you still in Japan?" I heard his voice on the other side.

"Yep, I never left, why?" I asked "Did your flight cancel?"

"No I am on the airplane, not the tokyo airline. Do you remember Holly, the beautiful lad we met in Japan?" Mater asked "Well let me tell you it's crazy, but- oh sorry Finn wants to speak with you."

I heard the shift to another caller.

"Is this y/n?" A male voice asked,with a British accent.

"Yes, is everything alright?" I asked "Is Mater alright?"

"Yes he is doing fine, I need you to go back to the Tokyo airline and try not to be followed." I felt a chill down my spine when the caller told me there are 4 cars right now watching my move. "Go to the airline and we'll pick you up."

"But the airport won't allow me, because well I am not a car, wild I know." I said looking behind me there were only cars. "Don't know if Mater told you or not."

"Oh Mater already informed us so did your friend Holley, that I'll explain later." The male voice said "Meet you at the airport Y/N, we are expecting you."

The call then ended, the man didn't even introduce himself and just hung up! But if Mater is with them then I go, I do a sharp U turn, which I am sure is very illegal and start to head back to the Airport which would be 30-40 minutes. As I did so I noticed 3 cars followed my lead, you don't need a brian to know that they are following my movement. Immediately I stepped on the gas and ZOOMED away, the cars also chased me. Strange thing is they are all old model cars, and most of those cars are always acting strange, the bathroom, the flame thrower fight that I am sure is a real fight, and now the bridge.

"Ranger find the fastest way to get to the airport." I said

"If you turn to the right and keep going forward you can reach the hospital in 25 minutes." Ranger said and a map was shown on screen in side my mask.

"25 minutes is not the fastest." I huffed

"Take it or leave it hon." Ranger said

"I'll take it."
