Princess Aella had a life full of love and luxury. She had everything she could wish for, except for one thing. She wanted to visit Alfea the college for fairies. As she is their parents only child they are very protective of her. The new school year will start in a few months and since Aella is now at the age where faires start their education there she's been trying to convince her parents to let her go.
Third Person POV
"Mom, pleeeease let me go there." Aella said while following her mother, who was walking down one of the many corridors of their castle.
"Honey you know we just want to protect you, can't you just continue studying here with your private teacher?" Her mother didn't want to let her precious little girl go.
"But that's not the same thing. How am i supposed to become a strong fairy and protect our realm. I will never fulfill Aloria's expectations if i can't even visit the one place where a fairy receives a good education. "
Their discussion kept on going for days as every time Aella saw her parents she started to bombard them with this topic. Her parents kept on saying that Aella was not ready yet.
They knew their daughter better than anyone, so of course they knew that their daughter was ready but they were the ones not ready to let go.
In the end they agreed to let her visit Alfea as long as she writes them at least once a week. They just couldn't see their daughter get sad every time they told her no.
Aella's POV
It is finally time. My suitcases are packed and I'm ready to go.
As my mother and I arrive in front of the school gates I look at it in awe. It's all pink, how pretty. It's really a majestic school. I feel like I'm gonna get used to this place pretty fast.
"There it is! The realm-renowned Alfea school!" I say to my mother excitedly. As I look at her I can see tears forming in her eyes.
"Don't be sad mom, I'll be home during the holidays."
"I know but you're so grown up now." She says as she hugged me tightly not wanting to let go.
"I'm gonna miss you guys"
We said our last goodbyes before I turned to look at Alfea. I guess it is finally time. Alfea, here I come!
As I enter the school grounds I see a line in front of a woman with a clipboard. I decided to stand in the line behind two girls.
"Let's see, I'll check the list.Yes, Veranda of Vallisto." I hear the lady say to the girls in front of me
"Yup, that's me." answers the red haired girl. She seems nervous.I wonder why.
They are then allowed in. I'm the next one. Now even I'm getting nervous.
"Name?"
"Aella Atheria, mam." I hope my parents told the headmistress that I would come. It was a rather sudden decision.
"Here. Aella you may go in." I feel a sort of relief.
As I saw everyone gather in one place I decided to stand next to the two girls I saw earlier. They looked at me and gave me a small smile.
"HI, I'm Bl..." the blonde cut her off
"Her name is Veranda. Princess of Vallisto!" again with the nervousness. Something is off.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Aella" I say with a smile
"That name suits you, I don't know why but you seem like a calm person sort of like a breeze or sth." Veranda says
