Sikander Malik paced restlessly in the dimly lit room, his sharp footsteps echoing off the concrete walls. The tension in the air was palpable, charged with the anger of a father scorned. His men stood before him, fear etched into their faces as they delivered the news: Meerab and Murtasim had evaded capture. Their failure gnawed at Sikander, a wound that deepened with every passing second.

“How could you let them slip through your fingers?” Sikander barked, his voice a low growl. His men shifted uncomfortably, exchanging wary glances. They knew their boss was ruthless, but the stakes were even higher now that his precious daughter was involved. This was personal.

“Sir, we tracked them to the safe house, but they were gone by the time we arrived. They must have had help,” one of the men stammered, his voice trembling under the weight of Sikander's fury.

“Help?” Sikander’s voice rose, shaking with rage. “You let my daughter run away with a mere bodyguard, and you call that help?” He halted abruptly, his hands balled into fists at his sides, his knuckles white with suppressed anger.

Zain, Meerab’s fiancé, stood silently beside Sikander, his jaw clenched in frustration. Chosen by Sikander himself, Zain was seething at the humiliation of his fiancé running off with another man, especially someone like Murtasim. The feeling of betrayal coursed through him like poison, darkening his thoughts.

“Once we catch them, I’ll kill them both painfully,” Zain said, his voice dripping with venom. His eyes sparkled with rage as he imagined the ways he could exact his revenge.

Sikander’s hand shot out, striking Zain across the face with a resounding crack that echoed in the small room. “Don’t you dare speak about my daughter like that!” Sikander thundered, his eyes blazing. “She is my heir, the future owner of my business. She will take over the Malik empire, and you must remember your place.”

Zain stood there, stunned by the blow, but inside, he seethed with anger and humiliation. How dare Sikander defend her? Zain had always lusted after Meerab, seeing her as a trophy to elevate his own status within the Malik hierarchy. Now, with Murtasim in the picture, his plans were unraveling, and he was determined to reclaim what he believed was rightfully his.

Sikander’s expression shifted slightly, the anger in his eyes giving way to a cold determination. “My daughter is innocent in all this,” he said, his voice low and menacing. “Murtasim is the one who manipulated her. He took advantage of her vulnerability and led her astray. Otherwise, she would never have done such a thing.”

Zain felt a surge of indignation at the mention of Murtasim’s name, the bodyguard who had dared to disrupt his plans. “You can’t seriously believe that, Sikander. She ran away with him! There’s no way she’ll come back to you now.”

Sikander’s gaze hardened. “I will bring her back, Zain. Once I do, I will ensure that Murtasim suffers for what he has done. His death will be a mercy compared to the punishment I have in store for him. Mark my words, Meerab will marry you, and you will have the power you crave.”

Zain swallowed his anger and forced himself to nod, hiding the tumultuous emotions roiling within him. “Yes, but I need to know when. This cannot stand. I want her back and Murtasim dead.”

Sikander turned, his face a mask of fury mixed with paternal protectiveness. “I will not rest until I have my daughter back. I’ll give Murtasim a chance to suffer the consequences of his actions. He has made a grave mistake, one that will cost him dearly.”

Zain’s heart raced with a mix of anticipation and desperation. He needed Meerab back, not just for the power she represented but also to regain his lost pride. “I will help you,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “I’ll do whatever it takes to find them.”

Sikander nodded, the anger still simmering beneath the surface. “We will track them down, Zain. I won’t let my daughter be lost to some fleeting whim. Murtasim thinks he’s clever, but he has no idea who he’s dealing with.”

The two men exchanged a knowing glance, a dark alliance forged in the fire of their shared resentment. The game had changed; the stakes were personal now. They would not rest until Meerab was back in Sikander’s grasp and Murtasim paid the price for his audacity.

As Sikander’s men moved quickly to gather intelligence and resources, Zain felt a rush of adrenaline course through him. He would not allow himself to be sidelined in this narrative; he would ensure his place at the head of the Malik empire, no matter the cost.

With a newfound resolve, he stepped closer to Sikander, ready to plot their next move. “Let’s make them pay for their betrayal,” he said, a sinister smile creeping across his face.

Sikander returned the smile, a dangerous glint in his eyes. “Yes, we will show them what happens when they defy the Maliks.”

The air was thick with tension, anticipation buzzing in the room as they began to devise a plan, knowing that soon, the chase would begin in earnest. They would bring Meerab back, and when they did, Murtasim would wish he had never crossed paths with her.
