Chapter 2

After some minutes after Shidou leaves you, you go through your phone schedule, you talk to yourself as you walk to the door.

"I guess I have a meeting with jinpachi."

After shidou had left the room, he was met with the empty hallway...Which he was quite glad for,he was in no mood to be dealing with the other Blue Lock players right now.

He made his way down the hallway, wondering what it was you were discussing with Ego.

I open the door and lock it after leaving, taking the keycard as I start walking through to meet Jinpachi.

Ego was sitting at his desk as he worked, looking over some stats of the Blue Lock players and U-20 team. He looked up when he heard someone approaching his desk and his gaze landed on you.

"Ah, I suppose you're done speaking with Shidou?" Jinpachi says.

"Yes and why did you need me?"

Ego continued to look over the stats as he spoke. "I just need to discuss something with you."

He motioned towards the chair in front of his desk and continued to speak. "Sit down."

You walk towards to the chair and take a sit. After you were seated, Ego turned off the stats screen and looked at you. He was going to get straight into the matter, something you preferred.

"So what is it?" You asked.

"You are well aware of shidou's temper and violent tendencies I'm sure..."

Ego paused to look at you, expecting you to know exactly what he was talking about.

I sighed deeply, already knowing the answer. "So your telling me to keep him in check so he can actually focus on his skills, while also getting further data on the other players...is that right? Jinpachi.

Jinpachi leaned back in his chair and nodded. "Essentially, yes. He's been quite difficult to deal with as you clearly know, I trust that you'll be able to handle him well." He says.

I huffed, "Of course...just leave it to me."

Jinpachi simply nodded at he reply, "Good. Just make sure he doesn't do anything rash and try to break more noses."

Once the screen was back on, Jinpachi continued, clicking through a few pages. "You'll be joining the other players in further data analysis from now on..." he said, finally setting on a specific page and turning it back in your direction for you to see.

The chart on the page contained data on multiple players, and some on shidou.

From a glance you could tell it had been quite thorough, "Since I'll be quite busy dealing with some business for a while, I'm gonna to need your assistance in further data analysis." Jinpachi explained.

Jinpachi looked past the chart and at you, "Do you understand?" He asked, awaiting your response. He knew that he was giving you a lot of responsibility but he trusted you were capable of handling it,

"Yes I understand." I answered blankly.

Jinpachi nodded and leaned back in his chair yet again, "Good. I trust that you'll be able to handle him and give me the accurate data."

He returned his gaze to the screen as he began working on it again, which he took as a sign for you to leave.

I sit up from my seat and walk out.

Jinpachi hardly even looked up as you got up from your seat, he was already immersed in the charts and stats of the players.

The door was silent as you closed it behind you, leaving you to stand in the empty hallway.

I start walking down the hall to my room knowing that'd I'd have to move to the different room by tomorrow.

As I walked through the hallways it was still oddly quiet, no one seemed to be around at the moment which was unusual but i wasn't complaining.

You made it to your room, opening the door and stepping inside with a exhale, happy that you had a moment to yourself.

You were about to sit down at your desk when you heard a soft knock at the door.

The knock was very soft and almost as if it was unsure, which didn't really tell you anything about who was on the other side of the door.

I opened the door slightly to see who was it...
