Chapter 3

As I opened the door, I was greeted by the sight of Shidou who was stood there in front of my door, his hands in his pockets and a slight smirk on his face.

"Shidou?" I say.

Shidou's smirk widened when I said his name, his gaze was rather intense as he stood in the doorway, "Yeah, it's me~"

His expression was a lot calmer than usual, he seemed to be rather in a good mood right now, "Can I come in?" He asked.

"Yeah." I nod as I opened the door to let him in.

Shidou's smirks remained as he stepped into my room, his gaze wandering as he glanced around the room before it returned to me, once I close the door.

"It's a shame you'll have to leave your room tomorrow." He said, his tone much softer that usual as he moved toward the bed and sat down.

"So why are ya' here...anything happen?" I asked.

Shidou went silent for a moment as he sat on the bed before he spoke, his tone still surprisingly soft, "Nothing happened, I just got bored..."

He patted the spot next to him, motioning for me to sit down and join him.

I walk towards the bed and take a seat next to Shidou.

Shidou smiled as I sat down, he was clearly enjoying the fact that you had let him into your room and were now sat next to him.

He let out a low hum as he sat there, his eyes wandering around the room for a moment before they returned to you and his smirk returned to his face "Y'know...I never got to thank you..."

I was confused to which what he needed to thank me for, "for what?"

Shidou's smirk widened as he looked at you. "For gettin' me outta my cell, and then gettin' my ass out of there after I knocked out Rin."

He moved slightly so that his body was facing more towards you as he looked at you. "You're really the best~"

"Don't mention it"

Shidou's snickered at your reply, clearly that response "Don't mention it..." he says.

Shidou leaned back on one hand, his other hand going to his chin to prop his head up as he looked at you. "You're a lot more stubborn than I thought y'know..."

Confused I asked, "how's that?" As I lean back and lay on the bed.

He chuckled when you lay down besides him, "you don't like being praised or complimented at all y'know..."

Shidou follows you and lays down on his back on the bed as well, moving his head so that he was looking at you, "I've noticed that about you." He says.

"Really...what an observation."

Shidou let out a snort when you replied in a rather sarcastic tone before his smirked returned, "You  just love acting cool and unbothered don't you..." he laughed, his tone teasing as he spoke.

I rather took what he said to mind and thought about it. "I never really noticed that to be honest." I say looking at the ceiling.

Shidou moved his arm slightly, leaning on his elbow so that he could get a better look of you. He studied your expression for a moment before he spoke, "Yeah...no wonder everyone's either intimidated by you or obsessed with you."

"Actually?" I say.

Shidou chuckled, "Yeah actually...you really don't notice the way you hold yourself?"
