Wen Chao shouted. He unsheathed his new sword and sliced at her, “Go away! Get lost!”
Wang LingJiao’s shoulder had been gashed by the sword. Her features were even more twisted as she shrieked, “Ahhhhhh… It hurts, ahhhh… It hurts, ahhhh!!!”
Wen Chao didn’t even dare pull his sword away. Grabbing a stool, he hurled it toward her. After it hit her, it broke into pieces. Wang LingJiao staggered before kneeling down and collapsing onto the ground, as though she was kowtowing someone, mumbling, “… I’m sorry… I’m sorry… Let me go, let me go, let me go…”
"Wen Chao!" Wen Rouhan shouted in rage.
"What? Why are you shouting?" asked Wen Chao.
"Are you that scared? How coward are you? You even dare to hurt a woman. I don't care about her but such action is unacceptable." said Wen Rouhan.
Wang LingJiao was looking at Wen Chao in disbelief.
"You see? You've trusted a wrong a person. You should've known more sooner that such man will never have a second thought to hurt and abandon you." said MianMian.
"She deserve it though. She wants power so she climb onto him. Now, she's regretting it." said Wen Qing.
"I don't care if she's regretting. I will still punish him for badmouthing my mother." said Jiang Cheng.
"She must know that I will never forgive her." he added.
As she knocked her head on the ground, blood dripped from her qiqiao. With her blocking the entrance, Wen Chao couldn’t leave. He could only open the window, shouting his lungs out, “Wen ZhuLiu! Wen ZhuLiu!!!”
"You can't even run away by yourself." laughed Wei Wuxian.
"But oh, I won't let you escape." he added.
"Damn, my uncles are getting scary." said Jin Ling.
"I never thought that one day I will experience this." said Zizhen.
"Why didn't I get to have a-niang's cruelty?" asked Jingyi.
"It's more better that way." said Sizhui.
On the ground, Wang LingJiao had already picked up one leg of the stool, frantically stuffing it into her mouth, laughing as she did, “Fine, fine, I’ll eat it, I’ll eat it! Haha, I’ll eat it!”
An entire chunk of the leg had been stuffed down by her!
Wen Chao was almost dead from the shock. Just as he was about to jump out the window and flee, he suddenly realized that in the courtyard, a black silhouette stood amid the pool of moonlight on the ground.
"Is she possessed?" asked Jiang Yanli.
"What a pleasure it is, watching her like that." said Madam Yu mirroring his son's smirk.
"No wonder you guys are scary. You inherited her." said Nie Huaisang.
"But, who could be that person?" asked Jin Zixuan.
