Chapter 10 (Ended peaceful)

"ahh, so you were the one taking care of the island when we were away hahaha" they said while laughing awkwardly, a lot of large bump in their head visible, while they started taking out all their food.

 Acting all friendly with you, you still look pissed off with an angry irk mark, visible in your head, your arms crossed around your chest.

"Hey, move that faster you idiot before that Slime girl actually kill us" one of them whispered to one of his team.

"Y-yeah sorry.." the other replied moving faster.

"How long have you guys made this island your base?" You asked the captain who's beneath you in all four on the snow gritting his teeth from humiliation.

"A..a few months ago" he replied trying to act tough, his face literally red from both embarrassment and from the snow.

A Few months huh.. does that mean no event happend yet? I don't actually remember how long they were in this island but all I know is that a big event would happen here, I kinda don't remember what.

As you kept looking at the guys who's taking out their food from the mansion you caught sight of a kid hiding behind a wall just on your left, he has an orange hair just like the guy your sitting at right now.

Though he has an X like mark on his chin, just visible enough for you to see even though his hiding, he looked even scared.

"Hey, orange guy, who is that child? Is that your kid?" You asked while hitting the man's back head, pointing at the building on your left, making the kid flinch that his been caught.

"Hah? What?... Oh.. yeah.. why? What are you going to do?" The man spoke his voice lace with anger and a bit of concern, giving you a hard glare which you just ignored, you stood up from sitting down on that guy's back and started walking towards where the kid is.

The man who is the captain fall flat face onto the snow stumbling a little when you suddenly stood up letting out a few curse that someone like you can just control him like that, even though he used haki earlier fighting you, it doesn't seem to work, since your body seems to go back to what it is.

It's not like his actually good at haki though.

After a few minutes you came face to face with a kid in orange hair who looked really young, he has a lot of scratches all over his body and his waring a worn out clothes.

X drake?.. nah that can't be, his so young hare, now that I think about it, I didn't even have the time reading newspaper the time I finally started getting comfortable here with the old man.

you don't really think if he really is a kid, maybe it's the lack of growth? Does he not eat properly? He looks so weak and thin while you stared at him.

I really wanted to know how old he is but I might be shocked if I found out.

"What's your name?" You asked while looking at the kid in front of you in curiosity.

"My name is... Dory" he said while looking down not wanting to make eye contact with you while he fidgeting with his hand.

You stared at him, tilting your head 'dory? Dorri? like X drake?' you thought as you smiled warmly reminding you of your brother the more you stare at him.

"My name is Y/n..." You said with a warm smile before reaching out your hand towards him, he looked up at you his eyes wide open in surprise, why were you being kind to him? His father never even been kind of him, but you.. your acting really kind towards him.

He slowly reached out his hand, then shakes your hand carefully, you can't help but glance at his small hand, he really does looked thin, though you hated kids in one piece.. this child doesn't seem spoiled looking.

"Are you hungry?" You asked while you looked at him, he slowly nodded a bit shy, his never been treated kindly, being the ones actually serving his father and the other crews.

"Come with me then, don't worry I'm not going to kidnap you or anything.. I just can't hold it whenever I see a kid like you that's so thin and looks like his about to pass out of Hunger and exhaustion" you said then turned around while you started leading him down the mountains, passing by the pirates who looked confused at first.

The little kid kept looking down while he followed you obediently.

"Is she not going to take the food here?" A man says with brown curly hair while pointing at the barrels of food and other things that are now gone and when y/n walked past them making them confused and surprised where it suddenly disappeared through.

"I've got the loot's..." You said while waving your hand without looking at them.

"Uhm.. so.. where are you actually taking me miss, y/n?" Dory asked after a few silent, the only thing being heard is the crunch of snow beneath their feet, the other pirates who's left behind looking confused on where your going to take their captains kid.

"To my place.. you looked like you needed a sleep, and also some food" you said then looked back behind you giving him a kind smile, which made his eyes widden and a faint blush to appear, looking embarrassed and shy, not knowing how to react but nod.

After a while of walking down, you then arrived in front of a wooden house, walking first as you opened the door, looking back to the kid and welcoming him inside.

"Oh, y/n your back? Are you alright? You didn't get hurt did you?" The old man says greeting you when you arrived and started checking on you, he seems alright now.

"Did you drink the potion gramps?" You asked with a smile saying your fine and nothing really happened.

"Well yes, I'm alright, who is he?... He reminds me of my grandson, come...come in... let's have dinner together" the old man says when he suddenly grabbed the boys hand and started leading him inside, he gave you a look of asking for help on what is going on.

You only gave him a smile before closing the door behind you, following the boy and old man inside.

While the three of you had dinner together.

A few months passed and dory would visit you sometimes, hang out or play even just for a moment you want this kid to experience what it would be like to be a kid, free from problems and responsibilities.

Of course you threatened his father, telling him to let the child do whatever he wants, and you would even take responsibility for this kid if you have too, if only you can kidnap this kid, but you also knew it would be hard in this harsh weather, your literally just barely surviving with the old man.
