Chapter 19 (Enemy or a friend?)

After a few hours you are now walking with corazon on the forest, reminding you of that one anime in your previous life, while it also snowed but not that heavily.

Grabbing around Woods that can be lit to fire, a few fruit's or berries around, it's not like it's snowing heavily anyways.

You slightly glance at corazon, who was slightly far behind you, grabbing some woods even though you didn't even asked him to do that.

"It's good that you're all healed up.." you started the conversation first, kneeling down to grab a glowing mushroom.

Corazon responded with a smile and a pink looking shade on his cheeks before he replied.

"Yeah, I'm really thankful for saving me.. I don't know how I'm still alive.. but I'm really thankful this only means I get to meet law again" he responded with a smile, holding the woods he picked up as he started walking towards you.

You glance at him again, not being able to help but stare at his appearance, in your past life even though you were girl, your kind of gay sometimes with pretty boys.

You blush trying to forget that memory and focus on the task at hand first, corazon isn't beautiful his handsome built like a tree.. sorry that actually sounded weird.

"Ah.." you suddenly heard corazon trip behind you, letting out a sigh as the wood he just picked up fell into the snow as it rattled around.

"... Your so clumsy because your so fricking tall.. do you know that?" You spoke when you stood up, holding onto the basket behind you while you stared at him picking the woods back and apologising.

Another sight left your lips as you walked up towards him and kneel back down in front of him and started helping him pick the woods, glancing at him you didn't expect him to also been looking at you as he blushes when you caught him staring at you.

"T-thanks.. haha" corazon says while letting out an awkward chuckle, and after that they stood up and continued with their gathering.

The atmosphere is clearly heavy with awkwardness but you can't deny the strangeness of what is happening, you blush as you stood up, letting out a fake cough. You don't even know why your heart is beating so fast, clearly you don't like this clumsy tall guy.. right? His an anime Character for god's sake!.. and you never had relationship before.

"You done?.. we should go now before it becomes late again.." you spoke after putting the wood he picked behind you on the casket? basket? Whatever the hell you call it.

"Yeah.." he seems sheepish himself while he awkwardly looks away, noticing how his make up seems to be slowly disappearing, and you can clearly see the way he's thoughts seem to be somewhere else.

'he must be thinking about law.. even I'm curious.. it is said he got into on another island first, and then met bepo, and the others with sachi and penguin'.

Walking around the snow in silent your thoughts also drifted somewhere else, thinking about what happened that night, and the pirate's.

Rosinante watch curiously behind you when he looks back at you again after the awkward silence, seeing you mess up your f/c hair wandering what your thinking about.

"Where do you get your make up by the way?" You asked cutting the silence, getting curious why he wore a make up.

"Ah, I have one here.. I always bought this with me.. it's actually for cover.." he responded, his hand going towards his pants pocket, when he suddenly stopped talking.
