Prapai and Sky stood outside the gate of the park. After spending some peaceful time in each other's company, it was finally the time to part ways.

They both went to the gate but didn't stepped any further. Standing there in silence, both of their minds ran in different directions.

Prapai couldn't help but worry about Sky. He wasn't sure if he should let him go back home like this. Maybe he should just kidnap him and keep him in his home just for tonight.

While Prapai thought of ways to keep Sky away from the place, Sky thought of the conversation he would have once he is home. Prapai's words only enraged the fire burning inside him and provided him the assurance that it was okay to stand up for himself.

Before Prapai could ask Sky to come with him, the other person spoke up with determination lingering in his eyes, "Today I would go and talk to her."

Prapai opened his mouth to protest but closed it himself once he realized that he shouldn't stop Sky from doing what he had been avoiding since years.

Since most of the time they met was either at some occasion or at his sister's place, he always refrained himself from creating a scene. But today was the chance to talk freely and firmly.

Prapai's smile at his words made him feel something in his stomach, that he couldn't ignore even if he wanted to. They both parted ways with a goodbye, going in the opposite directions to their homes.

As Sky took each step towards his apartment, his nervousness increased. He kept repeating in his mind all the things he wanted to speak out.

"Mom, you can't force me to marry. NO NO NO WAIT..... Mom, I cannot marry a girl because I am gay and you know that." Sky kept muttering under his breath, getting frustrated every time the conversation in his head goes wrong.

The frustration ended up with him releasing an annoyed grunt, which he immediately regretted when he saw the girl living next door to him eyeing him with amusement.

Sky gave him a little smile, trying his best not to be awkward. She also returned the smile which turned into a giggle as soon as she crossed him.

Sky made the same sound once she left, it had been twice today when she saw her doing weird things, first running out frantically from his own house and now this.

"God how to behave like a decent person when I got so many things on my plate over here!!" He mumbled to himself, completely embarrassed by his own actions today.

........

Sky's mother glanced out of the window, it was dark outside. She took her phone and dialed her son's number one more time. All this time when she called him either there was no reply or her call simply got rejected. She even left a few messages asking about his whereabouts but there was no reply to that also.

Sky had done this earlier too, when they lived together, going out without telling and then not picking up calls. But usually he eventually returned home in an hour or so. Which was partially why she was more concerned this time as it had been hours since he left.

Suddenly the door knob clicked and turned, revealing Sky at the entrance of his home. His mother rushed towards him, stopping at a small distance from him.

"WHERE WERE YOU SKY? IS THIS HOW YOU LEAVE THE HOME WITHOUT EVEN INFORMING ANYONE?"

"I just had to run an errand. It was urgent" Sky internally winced at his reply, he should've told the truth.
