He groans into my mouth, and I use that moment to push back, trying to take control again. But Han is stronger than he looks, and for once, he's not letting me win.
"Frustrated?" he murmurs between kisses, smirking against my lips.
I bite at his jaw...

Taking Han back to my apartment? Definitely a bad idea. But hey, I've never been one for good decisions. I'm impulsive; I know that. I also know I could just walk back into the Lounge, dump him with Bahng and Seo, and call it a night like any rational person would. But no, here I am, mentally running through a list of excuses for this spectacularly awful choice. Something told me that the last thing Han would want is to wake up in front of Seo in this state-vulnerable, emotional, drunk. When did I start caring about how Han feels? God, that's a terrifying thought.
With a resigned sigh, I hoist his unconscious body into the passenger seat, wrestling with him as though he's put on an extra twenty pounds of muscle since the last time I checked. "Fucking hell-." I mutter as I buckle him in. The seatbelt clicks into place, and I lean back, catching my breath. Only half the battle won-now I just need to get him out of the car and into my apartment, and the thought alone makes me groan.
I slide into the driver's seat and pull out of the parking lot, casting occasional glances at him. Despite everything, Han looks so... peaceful. His head's tipped slightly to the side, his lips parted in a way that's borderline cute-yeah, I said it. It's a rare sight, this calm. Whether he's cold and emotionless or spiraling through whatever chaos is happening inside his head, he's never just at ease like this. And that's saying something. The longer I look, the more I pity him, and I hate myself for that.
The drive is silent, my thoughts racing faster than the car. By the time I pull into the underground parking of my building, I'm mentally preparing myself for the wrath Han will give me when he wakes up. I park, glance at him one last time, and heave a sigh before dragging him out of the car. Somehow, I manage to get him on my back and stumble into the elevator, my arms already burning. This feels... familiar. Too familiar. The charity event-right, when I was drunk and Han had dropped me home. This exact elevator. His eyes. The memory stirs something in me, something unsettling, and I quickly shove it down.
The elevator dings, and I stride into my penthouse, struggling with Han until I reach the guest bedroom. I deposit him as carefully as possible on the bed, removing his shoes, and sit on the edge of the bed, catching my breath. As I run my fingers through my hair, Han's phone lights up in his pocket. I pull it out, intending to just set it aside, but the screen catches my attention-one missed call from Bahng, six missed calls from Seo. Shit.
I quickly put the phone down, opting to let Han deal with that mess when he wakes up. I throw the covers over him, taking one last glance at his still face before retreating to my own room.

When I woke up, for a brief second, I had forgotten that Han was still in my apartment. Last night came rushing back in a disjointed blur-Han, drunk, almost kissing me, then passing out in my arms. There was no meaning behind any of it. It was just the alcohol, nothing more. I had no reason to act any differently around him today. I'd be the same sarcastic, sharp-tongued bastard I always was.
