Standing in the elevator with a blue jean jacket, white collar shirt, and tan pants, she couldn't believe it, it was him Leonard. As he stepped out of the elevator, Fiona couldn't put her phone down, she was so happy to see a welcoming face.
Unable to keep in her excitement, she said. "Oh my God, Leonard you wouldn't believe everything that has happened. I have so much to tell you. By the way, what are you doing here, are you finally checking up on your grandson, or did you know I was going to be here?"
That's when Fiona noticed it, folded neatly in his arms, he had a white lab coat. Oh God, she wanted to be anywhere but here at this moment. Slowly moving her phone down from her face, the man stared at her and smiled. Then she remembered what Leonard said, his grandson looked exactly like him.
Unsure what to say, she held her phone at her side. Then she saw movement on the other side of him, and noticed a man with dirty blond hair standing partially behind Leo, looking away. She was so transfixed on her phone, she hadn't noticed the company.
Finally, she got up the nerve to speak. "Oh my God, I'm an idiot. You're the doppelganger grandson. I feel so stupid, How did I not know? He said you were probably a doctor by now and here you are. Sorry about being so forward I thought you were someone else," speaking to the man on the other side of Leo, she said. "Oh and you can come out now, I know you're there."
"Oh," taking a step out, he chuckled, "sorry, I was...uh...just trying to offer you a little bit of privacy." He started to laugh.
"Yeah get it out of your system, I'm going to go up to my room and bury my head in a pillow, thanks."
Walking to the elevator, the doors had already closed, she hit the button. She could hear the guys whispering, but she didn't care to make out the words.
"God, just let this night end already." She thought.
Climbing into the elevator she hit the button for the 5th floor. She watched as the men were walking away. Before the doors completely closed, she saw Leo look back in her direction and smile.

Making her way back into her room, she quickly slumped in her bed. She felt stupid, but how could she have known he would be at that exact hospital? Ugh. To get her mind off of the events, she turned on the TV. More news about her, before hearing anything, she quickly turned it off. God will this ever end. She wanted to scream in her pillow, instead, Fiona placed her phone on her side table, turned over, and fell asleep.

Waking up she rubbed her eyes, and checked the time. 9:02 am. Then she saw grandson Leo standing by her window. "Oh God, when will the torture end." She thought.
"What are you doing here, and how did you find me?" She asked.
Turning in her direction, he smiled. "Well good morning to you too. When I went home last night I turned on my TV and I saw your face, I knew you looked familiar, and as far as finding you? Well I'm a doctor."
"Yeah, well you can be a doctor somewhere else, I'm good I'm not crazy or anything."
With the same trimmed beard, and mustache, he even had the same smile, he said. "I never said you were."
Wearing a black t shirt, and black pants, Fiona couldn't imagine the other Leo dressing so casual.
"So what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Well, oh sorry about my buddy Cole, now he thinks you're crazy, I myself, I'm curious. You said last night, you're the doppelganger grandson, and I was thinking to myself, how could she know I look anything like my grandfather? I mean, I've always been told I was his exact replica, but how could you have known that? In fact, my grandfather passed away much older than I am now, so unless you're in your sixties, and you just look really good for your age, how could you have known what he looked like in his youth?"
He asked some really good questions, Fiona wasn't sure how to respond. She said, "It's a long story."
He smiled, "I can imagine, coming from the girl who ran out of the ocean completely dry."
"Oh, you saw that interview. Well, without the notoriety, how about a proper introduction, my names Fiona, it's nice to meet you."
"I'm Leonard, but of course you already know that, just call me..."
"Leo," she interrupted. "I know."
Smiling, he looked at her sarcastically, "I thought this was supposed to be proper?"
"Oh crap, should we start over? My names Fiona," she held out her hand.
Walking up to her, he shook it. "Nice to meet you, I'm Leonard, but you can call me Leo."
She smiled, "Sorry I was so rude, it's just been a very, very long recovery."
"That's ok, I apologize for Cole, I don't know if you heard anything he said, he was just being an ass."
"Actually, my ears didn't tune in to him, I was so freaking embarrassed I just wanted to get to my room."
"Oh, then I don't apologize for him."
She laughed.
"I know you probably don't want to talk about it, but what happened?"
She looked up at him, "You're right I don't want to talk about it," feeling she may have come off harshly, and he did deserve an explanation, she restated, "at least I don't want to talk about it here, in the hospital."
"Ok, I can understand that. So when are you being released?"
"They said tomorrow, but the doctor is coming in today, so I'm really hoping he changes his mind and I can go home today."
"Well, I don't see why not, you seem fine, of course I don't know your original diagnosis."
"Basically dehydration I think, I mean the nurse said I was pretty dehydrated when I arrived."
"Well in that case, you might get released today, for dehydration they like to monitor for three days usually, it's just a formality, but I'm sure they ran all the tests, and if you're holding food down, and your body functions are normal, it could be a possibility."
"God I hope so, I hate hospitals," she looked up at him, "sorry I know you work here..."
"Hey, no I get it," he interjected, "I'm not particularly fond of that side of the isle either."
With a quick knock on the door, her sister entered the room. "Hey Fiona," she looked up from her phone, "oh I didn't realize you had company. Hi, I'm Terinda, I'm Fiona's sister."
"I'm Leonard, um." He looked at Fiona awkwardly, "it's a pleasure."
"No, pleasures all mine," she smiled.
Fiona felt embarrassed, she could feel her face get red. "So, what are you doing here Terinda?"
"I was just checking up on you, oh and I got a call from the doctor, I got some good news." She smiled broadly.
"What, what's the good news?" She asked.
"Well, your tests are clear and everything looks good, so when the doctor makes his rounds tonight he will be releasing you." Fiona sighed, as Leo said. "Told you."
"Yes you did and thank God. I was going stir crazy here."
"Was that the episode last night.."Leo snickered.
"Last night?" Terinda asked, "what happened last night?"
Interrupting, Fiona said. "It's nothing." Diverting the conversation, she asked. "Where's mom and dad?"
"Well, you know them, moms knoodling it up with reporters, and dads just following around like a lost puppy. The doctor was going to give them a call, he probably already did, and mom wanted to be the one specifically taking you home. You know, any chance for the spotlight. So I'm here to steal their thunder. I will be taking you home."
Just then, Leo interrupted, "Actually, if it's all right, Fiona and I were just talking about this and we agreed I would take her home. Isn't that right, Fiona?" He looked over at her.
She knew she could have made him look like an ass, and say what are you talking about, but the offer was too good to be true. Last thing she wanted was to be hounded for explanations by her family.
"Yeah, that's right." She smiled at him. "I thought it would be best, because I'm sure reporters know mom and dads car, and yours too, possibly, so, I figured, it was better to play it safe, you know." She glanced at Terinda hoping she sounded authentic.
Her sister smiled, and shrugged. "Oh, well, ok then, at least someone's stealing their thunder." She smiled coyly, "and, maybe a little of something else?"
Fiona blushed. "Knock it off, Terinda."
Looking confused, Leo asked. "What? Did I miss something?"
Fiona interrupted, before her sister had a chance to answer. "No, no you didn't," looking over at her sister sternly, she finished, "but now that Terindas service is no longer needed she will be heading out so she can call Mom and Dad and let them know I have my own ride."
Terinda stared blankly, when she figured it out, she said, with wide eyes, "Oh right, right....um...yeah so I will go do that now, just text me when you get home Fiona."
"I will." Fiona said, sighing with relief.
Terinda headed out, and not even a moment later, Fiona's phone went off.
"Well, that was weird. Um, I feel like I was missing something there." Leo said.
Picking up her phone, she said. "No you're fine, Terinda is just being Terinda. That's how she is."
Noticing she had a text, it was from her sister. She opened it, and it read: I want details.
As she closed her phone, Leo ask, "What, what is it?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Hey can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
Unsure how to word it she said. "Well you're a doctor, and...I mean...I know you're not my doctor...but is there anyway you can use your influence, ya know, as a doctor, and get me out of here sooner?"
He smiled. "First of all, I am a ER doctor, I have no influence here. But what I can do is make a recommendation."
She slumped back, "What kind of recommendation?"
"Now don't feel defeated just yet," he said, he obviously picked up on the mood change. "I can recommend that your doctor releases you earlier because, odds are, your mother is talking to reporters and they will know you are getting released around six, and they will be waiting for you, and he should release you early so he can avoid any unnecessary stress on his patient."
Fiona brightened up, "Ya do that, please. That's a great idea."
Leo smiled at her, and said. "Ok, I will do that now, hang on." He left the room.

As time passed on, Fiona grew nervous. She really hoped Leo's professional opinion would make a difference. She knew he was right, odds are, her mom alerted the reporters, so when Fiona was released, she could play the caring, concerned mom and take all the questions. Her mother was always a ham for attention. Ugh, what's taking so long. Grabbing her phone from the cart table the hospital provided, she opened it and saw something a little different. A star, there was a star in the right hand corner of her phone.
"Huh." She said aloud.
She clicked on it and it opened into her camera app. Holding up her phone, she looked around, everything looked normal. Then why was the star on her app, she didn't download anything to give her apps some cutesy appeal. This must be something with Obournion. Standing up, she made her way to the door, quietly she opened it, held her phone up once again, and proceeded to look around. Nothing. She did see Leonard down the hall talking to the nurse, as she was on the phone. Quietly she closed the door. This is frustrating and it doesn't make sense. Heading to her window, she looked outside, there was a woman on a bench in a nurses uniform, smoking. Two other nurses were sitting at a park table eating lunch. This must be where they come for their breaks. She held her phone up, the nurses were no longer visible, instead she was seeing a setting out of, what looked like a wild west movie. She saw dirt roads, and there were horses tied to a hitching post. Also there were buildings, looking through her phone she scanned over them, one of them was labeled bath house, another saloon, there was a general store, and even a whore house. Holding her phone back down, it looked like the normal hospital, she held it back up and it was the wild west. Smiling, she figured it out, places. She could now see places, she remembered her grandpa telling her, that those areas, the cabana hut, the hall of memories, and even the night club, they were all places in her time. Now she had access to the locations. This was crucial, she wasn't sure how but it was definitely important. But why? Before she could ponder anymore, Leo walked in. Startled, Fiona turned toward him, as he said,
"Well get dressed, looks like we're breaking you out of here."
