King Namjoon eagerly drew  close to Jeon Jungkook's side per Amber's request

Jeon Jungkook's hands shook as he hesitated to direct the King's arm to take a shot

Flashes of his steamy make-out moment with the King tormented his mind

'Um......er......lift your arm a bit higher, please' Jungkook said, unwilling to touch the king's arm

The King deliberately lifted his arm higher than he should have

He low-key wanted to feel Jungkook's hand subtly brushing on his

The two were too aware of each other's presence to notice how much Amber was watching in amusement at their awkwardness

She broke into a smile to herself asking Jungkook redundant questions for the two to keep demonstrating and be forced to get closer

Amber had quickly figured out King Namjoon was in love with Jungkook ever since the King came back from his meeting with Commander Kim Taehyung

The King hadn't stopped yapping about Jungkook and even divulged their very shortlived  past history

Amber could tell King Namjoon dearly adored Jungkook just as much as she adored her girlfriend - Sunmi

The king had been very supportive of her intimate relationship to Sunmi so she was determined to support his love interests too

The two had agreed to go through with an arranged marriage for Korea's sake but the King was understanding enough to honor his lesbian partner's sexual preferences by letting her continue dating Sunmi and never indulging with her since she wasn't wired that way

Amber was grateful to King Namjoon for letting her secretly continue dating the love of her life

She wanted nothing more than for King Namjoon to find his love too

When she realized King Namjoon's heart beat for Jungkook, she was determined to  help him, especially after finding out Jungkook was married to Kim Taehyung

Kim Taehyung was no stranger to Amber as he worked with Amber's dad a lot in the Korea Forces

Amber knew how cruel Commander Kim Taehyung was

Kim Taehyung was no good for any one

She looked at Jungkook pitifully as he sincerely demonstrated on the King, hoping the fate of Kim Taehyung's ex wouldn't befall the innocent-looking soul before her

The king let Jungkook direct his arms and hands wherever he would, savoring the moment

'Honey, I'm tired. Can we take a break?' Amber abruptly said as the two were getting really cozy and touchy feely with each other

'Are you sure?' King Namjoon asked, reluctant to move away from Jeon Jungkook

'Yeah.' Amber nodded

When King Namjoon got to Amber's side, she sneakily suggested to be excused with the only guard with them to take a toilet break, conveniently leaving the king and Jungkook alone

King Namjoon readily agreed

'I'm really craving berries and peaches. Would you mind going to the orchard with my sensei to get me some?' Amber asked sweetly

King Namjoon immediately agreed

Amber left the two alone

King Namjoon walked with Jungkook to the orchard

Jungkook was quiet, marvelling at the cool shady dusty path to the orchard

Red maple trees were arrayed beautifully along the path

'I'm sorry Jungkook' King Namjoon suddenly apologized to break the silence between them

'What?' Jungkook asked, snapping his head in the King's direction walking  beside him

'I'm sorry for what happened back then' the king apologized, his eyes revealing his sincerity

Jungkook somehow understood what he meant, 'It's fine, you don't have to apologize'   he said

The two walked quietly all the way to the orchard gate

The King opened the gate like a gentleman and ushered Jungkook in first

Jungkook's mouth watered to the evergreen orchard, his eyes widening in awe of the juicy ripe fruits, peaches, berries, apples, cherries and strawberries

The king took a peach from one of the peach trees and took a bite looking daringly at Jungkook

Jungkook froze, mesmerized

'Want a bite?' King Namjoon asked, licking juice spilt on his fingertips

Jungkook nodded eagerly and gulped

King Namjoon fed Jungkook the peach, 'Tasty?' he raised a brow at Jungkook

'Mmmm' is all Jungkook said, savoring the taste

King Namjoon never took his eyes off him as he kept feeding him with a smile of satisfaction

His smile faded when he noticed the deep hickeys on Jungkook's neck, 'Are you happy?' King Namjoon asked

'What?' Jungkook was puzzled with the sudden odd question

'Are you happy with your husband?' King Namjoon asked

Jungkook sighed deeply and nodded, 'Yeah'

'I don't believe you' King Namjoon was straight forward with him, 'Is he abusing you?'

Jungkook subconsciously placed a hand to cover his recently added hickeys, 'No, no he is not abusing me' he quickly answered

King Namjoon gently removed Jungkook's hand over the hickey, 'Why does he hurt you like this?' he asked in a sad tone that made Jungkook fail to respond, realising he couldn't lie to him

What could he tell someone who would see through his lies anyway?
