This characters name is Nicolaus. He's a goat character that Henry had made long ago. He had introduced the character to Joey, as a sort of father figure for the trio–Boris, Alice Angel, and Bendy. He thought that maybe there needed to be some sort of supporting character to their story that they had going. He thought that it would add a lot more to the existing story, make it more interesting, even. He didn't want people to grow tired of seeing the same 3 characters over and over again, so he made a new face for people to enjoy. Nicolaus had short, fluffy hair, goat eyes, goat ears, a goat tail, his horns were more like a sheep's horns, though. They wrapped around his goat ears. Nicolaus had hooves, but his hands were more like normal hands so that he would actually have fingers and opposable thumbs. Henry thought that his idea was quite great, especially because Nicolaus had freckles on him. Henry had made the freckles look more like constellations and stars, in order to form the idea that Nicolaus was up above in the stars watching over the entire trio. Nicolaus wore overalls like Boris does, but Nicolaus actually had a black and white flannel underneath his overalls. He had star earrings hanging off of his goat ears as well, he wore a cowboy hat every now and then, and he wore cowboy boots. The idea was definitely revolving around a farmer, but Henry thought that it would be nice since goats were normally farm animals, so he could be a farmer. He was really proud of how the freckles came out, he was proud of the character entirely, but he was especially proud of the constellation freckles that he had made. He felt like it would bring so much joy and happiness to the children watching the cartoon. He had even come up with the specifics of his personality. He would have all the qualities that a father figure would need to have. He was loving and sweet, he showed healthy affection. He would be strict when he needs to be, but he wouldn't go overboard. He tried to form the idea of a perfect father in his head, a father that some people dreamed of having. Joey, the exact opposite of what Henry thought, said that they didn't need to fix something that wasn't broke yet. Joey said that people still loved the cartoon and he doubted that people would get tired of it any time soon. He also thought that it would be weird if Henry added a father figure because none of the characters had been specified as young children. In fact, Joey said that Boris and Alice Angel already seemed like adults to the children watching the cartoon. He had disregarded Henry's entire idea and just shooed him away to go work on the cartoon that they were making at the moment. Henry had been disappointed at Joey's lack of enthusiasm and by how dismissive he had been of the whole entire idea. Sure, it may not be some groundbreaking idea, but Henry kinda liked the idea of the trio having a father figure.... He hadn't mentioned the character to Joey again, but he did draw Nicolaus sometimes in his free time or when he just needed a break. Sure, the idea of Nicolaus in the cartoon had been scrapped, but Henry had never scrapped his character entirely. Now, even when Henry was stuck in the time loop, he sometimes still thought of Nicolaus, just from time to time. Maybe he had grown more attached to Nicolaus than he had originally thought... So what happens whenever Henry starts to find old sketches of Nicolaus around the studio? Some of them are even hung up... Like how a parent would hang their child's artwork up on the refrigerator.
