Okay, so last update was December and I think you deserve something, so here is a looong awaited chapter. This doesn't mean that I will be updating again soon. Work is getting busy and I have slightly lost inspiration for this story. I will try my best to continue writing so thank you for being patience and supportive.

3rd POV

Pardon my interruption, Right General. It is the castle... Henrik, the Dawn Knight, and the Owls have the Rose Castle under siege.'' Says Baul with a concerned voice and scare all of the others, especially the smallest male of the group. Lilia instantly stands up, despite his injuries that are still healing, to continue on with his mission.

''We must return to the castle at once... Urk.'' Order Lilia immediantly to his army, until the pain over his chest sting him for a moment.

''You are in no state to be moving.'' Advise Silver worried for Lilia.

''Oof... Just looking at the state of you is enough to make me faint, yanno.'' Comment Grim with a discomforted look when he look at the healed scars.

''QUIET. I cannot let such wounds keep me down. The fortress is already surrounded. Those who can still teleport, inform the messengers.'' Order Lilia around, not backing down even with such a horrifying injury. ''Teleport and dispatch all troops back to the castle.''

''While I do believe that this is the fastest way back to the castle, it is still quite a distance to cover. But teleportation magic, affects not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well.'' Warn Baul for the danger of that plan. Worry about nothing more than his leaders safety. ''It poses a great risk for sick and hurt individuals. You may be powerful, but your current state will put you at an even greater risk. The able-bodied soldiers should leave immediately, but we must take the long route.''

''We do not have time, you fool. The Dawn Knight is approaching the castle as we speak.'' Bark Lilia back, glaring at Baul with determination, but there is also a hint of fear flashing in his eyes. But Baul doesn't let Lilia take another step further.

''I stand my ground. I loathe to admit it, but the Dawn Knight is powerful. Even if you faced him in perfect condition, I cannot guarantee that you will leave unscathed. It is unlike you to not consider all possibilities.'' Argue Baul back, trying to knock some sense into his Generals mind. Lilia takes a moment to rethink everything, having the logic sense smack him right in the head and make him groan in annoyance. He can't deny the cold hard facts.

''Lilia, if... if I may.'' Speaks Lumi a bit scared for even speaking up. She takes a gulp and slowly walks over to Lilia, trying to speak in the most comforting and friendlies tone she could bring forth. ''You need more time for the potion to work. We can find another way to get you to the castle while you still heal... But for now, you should listen and let Baul take over for now.''

''Such a bold suggestion from a human.'' Huffed Lilia angrily, pushing her away from him in anger. Although he instantly gets a pain scourge through his body from that sudden move. And he wasn't that strong to push Lumi too far, so she lands straight into Silver's arm, who was ready for it.

''And I, for once, agree with the human girl.'' Speak up Baul, surprising everyone for actually agreeing with a human, of all kind. ''Please put your faith in the soldiers you trained, and in Princess Maleanor. I believe we have the power to overcome what lies ahead.''

''... Very well. Damn it.'' Mumble Lilia, finally giving in. Baul nodded and thanks for the trust, immediantly turning around to look at the soldiers.
