"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR LIFE WILL BE LIKE IN LIKE 6 YEARS?" sara asked, glancing at the boy lounging beside her. arthur propped himself up on his elbows, pondering the question seriously.
"hopefully, i'll have a proper career in law by then. uh, and maybe a girlfriend, hopefully," he replied. sara couldn't help but laugh at his answer.
"what?" arthur asked, a slight smile creeping onto his face as he inched closer to her.
"well, i expected something more... i don't know, interesting?" sara explained, still smiling. arthur shook his head, moving even closer.
"okay, fine. do you want me to say something like, i don't know, i'll give up my law career and become a youtuber or something?" sara simply nodded, her smile growing wider.

as they continued to talk, a spark ignited between them.
"honestly, i want to keep doing youtube," sara said, her eyes bright with passion.
"it's just so fun to create and connect with people." arthur nodded, feeling the chemistry between them intensify.
"i get that. you really have a way of bringing people together with your videos," he replied, his gaze locked onto hers. the air felt charged, and without thinking, he leaned in and kissed her again, a moment that felt electric and full of promise.

but then sara pulled back, her expression shifting as reality set in.
"i've got to go back to my friend," she said, glancing at the door with a hint of reluctance. arthur felt a pang of disappointment.
"wait, no! stay!" he pleaded, desperation creeping into his voice.
"i can't," she replied, her tone soft but firm, already feeling the pull of her responsibilities and the fun atmosphere fading.

as she turned to leave, arthur's heart raced.
"can i get your number before you go?" he called out, hoping to keep this moment alive. but just as he spoke, the door slammed shut behind her, cutting off his words and leaving him standing there, a mix of hope and disappointment swirling inside him. he sighed, running a hand through his hair, wishing he had said something more convincing to make her stay. the room felt emptier now, and he couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something special.
