Burning next to you.

To die with a killer. To rot in hell, just the same. Henry was standing in his own hallway of flames. Every minute stood, and the heavy intoxins of gasoline filled his lungs and nose. Henry didn't even flinch when he saw him. The dying green bunny animaltronic. It waited on the opposite end of Henry, staring with those half lidded eyes.

Before William's massacre, Henry remembered when the animaltronic would laugh and have a joyous glint in them. Purple in color and delight. Now all he saw was... nothing. Just those souless grey eyes.

"Go burn in hell, William." Henry yells. It sounded heroic for a short second, and then the crisp of flames was all there was to hear. The animaltronic only tilted its head to the side as if to take Henry's words to a count. Slowly, the green molded carcass of a once happy past painfully turned away from the human. It limped forward into the climbing fire. Henry watched from a far.
He expected maybe for William to launch at him with a weapon he was hiding behind himself or for him to respond with a clever wit. It's all William ever did.  Since Charlie's death. Henry uncovered pieces to a picture of a whole other human - monster - he can't even remember what William looked like, not because of the rotting mask, but because he didn't realize William's true intent. That fake mask of such a loving friend, business partner, and father to his kids.

All to hide murders under a kind smile and funny jokes and 'working hard' to make new designs in the basement. What a lie.

Henry lost a lot because of him. His children and business. All by a slash of a blade. Well, Henry thought if the Pizzeria started with a show, why not end off for one last go. Lighting the Pizzeria seemed like a perfect idea.

"Fucker, if you care to listen. I've prepared a speech. A farewell if you may. I once had a friend I knew. Or I presumed. What a fucker he turned out to be."
Henry  cleared his throat, and chuckling tightly he continued.
"Massacring children. Literal children, for what satisfaction? Approval from God? Who knows? Then, out of the blue, I see my own daughter lying dead outside the very Pizzeria we worked in, built, and made animaltronics that you stuffed those children into... God forbid you even make it to Purgatory when you die you fucking bitch. Fuck you and that fucked up bunny suit." Henry coughed harshly the smoke eating at his throat and bloating his lungs.

It hurt it to breathe now. After his rant, he sat himself down on the checkered black and white floor. He didn't care if he died. What was there to live for if everything he did had vanished so quickly. He was just glad William was burning. Maybe hurting more due to the skin on metal contact - or what was left after 30 years rotting on a basement office. Alone... in a basement. Now, that would be a lot of time wallowing in his ill burdens. Though did he think to care.

Henry will die believing not. The flames have surrounded him a meter or so away. Getting closer and closer. Hotter and hotter.

Then he saw two grey blobs. He presumed it was William's feet. His vision was getting worse. Where did his glasses go?
"Are you going to kill me now?" Henry chokes on the  polluted air while looking blankly into those same silver eyes. The animaltronic shook his head and knelt slowly down, draping his old leather jacket over Henry.

"Oh, how kind." Henry says coldly and hoarsely. Pulling it more over his shoulders.

Suddenly, William scooped Henry in his arms and started sprinting through the flames. His back altered to the attacking licks of fire from the right - left - to late-  the ceiling collapsed down onto the animaltronic's shoulders, leaving Henry, on the floor feeling nauseous from the sight of a moldy face.

"Protect me away from that singed face."
Henry recoiled his nose as much as possible. William, on the other hand, didn't seem to notice the other man's loathing.

With a bit of struggle, William lifted the burden off himself. The sharp indo skeleton underneath the suit had suppressed its pressure on William's decayed skin. Blood trickled out of cavities of the suit , annoyingly falling on to Henry, who loathed the situation even more.

Did William's 'heroic' act want to tempt Henry into forgiving him. Does it give him closure when all he can do is nod or shake his head. Having faced so much trouble and pain. This should possibly be his redemption.
Henry would spit on that. Never again could he trust such an ugly repulsive liar.

"What in fucks name are you doing." The engineer grunted. Breathing felt like drowning in thick smoke. He looked to the fire. At first, he saw his own death. Now, he saw the souls relinquished in freedom of this terrible confinement William put them in. Charlie, his sweet girl, will be free.
Slowly, he let his eyes move to the culprit, and he said,

"Why are you suddenly now saving me? When all you have ever done has hurt me and my family...other families. If you think this is your redemption arc, you're dreaming. And I won't be a part of your dream. "

He sighed. Throwing the leather jacket off his shoulders ,feeding it to the fire like wood. And in words slightly muffled into is secured arm he said.

"Just leave me alone. Save yourself for all I care."

William didn't leave and instead sat next to Henry. They both sat there as the flames drew closer, and it eventually swallowed them. Like huge orange curtains. This was their last performance together, even when one will come back haunted at what he has done. Forever tormented at his guilt, he will remember Henry's last breaths and small smile as death overcame him.  He just wished he could have died, too.
