Young Charlie has trouble sleeping

In this I have Alastor as the parent because fuck Lilith.

The thunder cracked as the lightning ripped across the sky, walking down the hall lucifer walked up to his daughters room and opened the door some and peeked inside the room.
"Princess, you in here?" He asked as he looked at the lump shaking under The blankets, moving over to the bed he sat down on the side of it near her.
"Your not scared are you?" He asked as he watched her little head pop out now, under the ball of blankets resided his entire world, little 3 year old Charlie.
"Ss..scared..d..don't be silly..daddy" she said as she was clutching the blanket around her.
"Well I'm scared" he said as he looked at her.
"Would my big brave girl be able to keep me safe through this storm?" He asked with a smile before he saw a little hand come out from the blanket and grab his, he smiled at this and squeezed back some.
"I'll protect you" she said before another clap of thunder came and she yelped out and grabbed her dad's side like her life depended on it. Lucifer smiled as he moved and put a hand on her back and held her Against him.
"That was a pretty loud one wasn't it, I'd be under the bed shaking if my princess wasn't here to protect me" he said with a smile before he laid down on the bed with her. Charlie moved around and crawled onto his chest, dragging the blanket with her, looking down he saw her adorable little face tucked inside the blanket still as he wrapped his arms around her. He stayed with her for the rest of the night as the storm rolled on. A few hours later the storm had gone and it was early in the morning, Alastor rolled over in the bed before noticing lucifer was missing. He sat up now curiously before slipping out of bed and moving to Charlie's room, he opened the door and looked inside and smiled at the sight in front of him.  Lucifer and charlie laid there sound asleep, he had his arm draped over her as she was holding onto his other hand, he smiled before gently closing the door letting them enjoy their sleep.

So thoughts on these one shots being shorter like this.
Obviously There will be longer ones to, but is everyone ok with the shorter ones or want me to keep them longer?
