Plot : You meet sam on halloween at a bar and have fun.

It's been so long since you got out that you can't even pick out what to wear. You eventually decide on a black dress since it's halloween. Your friends from back in your college days convinced you to go out again after your divorce with your asshole ex.

You get to the bar and can't help but realize that you're so lonely. They party without you and get guys' numbers and go home with them, leaving you alone with your thoughts....that is until you see HIM. Mr. tall and handsome. He looked about your age and like he was looking for something. He sat down at the bar and ordered a beer for him and a guy he was with. You could hear people talking about how he was new to town and investigating a murder. Scary
..but interesting. You decide not to be a chicken and go greet him.

"Hey, my name is y/n...what 'bout you , officer?"

"My name is sam, and this is my my brother , dean, we're done with our investigation, just gettin a quick drink"
"Oh , nice , sam. I've lived here my whole life. I can show ya round."

"I've never lived anywhere consecutively *giggles painfully and with irony*"..
You wonder what he means.
How can someone so pretty be so strange , you wonder. His brother is already covered in ladies, half his age. Figures. You talk to sam for hours until he notices you're drunk and need a ride home.
"Hey.. y/n .. lemme take you home...not to ..take advantage but to help"
You giggle at how gentle he is. He gives you his number and takes you to your bed safely.
You like him already.
Maybe he'll stay in town.
