-Grey POV-
Akali and I pull into the driveway as Zalga walks out. "Grey Honey! Dinner is almost ready!" She calls out and I smile at her as I take my helmet off.
"Thanks Zalga! Hope you don't mind that I brought an extra!" I say as Akali and I walk up to the front steps.
"Oh no worries. Hello Little Miss." Zalga says and Akali smiles.
"Akali. Akali Tethi." Akali says and bows slightly.
"Grey this is the best girl you've ever brought home." Zalga says making my eyes widen.
"Mom!" I yell and she beams with joy.
"You called me Mom!" She cheers and hurries inside. I groan and keep the door open for Akali to enter. I close the door and turn around to see her bending down to take off her shoes. As much as I hate to admit it I smile as she has a very cute butt. I hear my Dad clear his throat and I jump slightly looking up. He smirks and raises one eyebrow.
"Hello. My name is Akali Tethi. It's a pleasure to meet you and thank you for having me over for dinner." Akali says while bowing respectfully.
"Such a respectful young Lady. My name is Orion and I'm that pup's old man. You remind me of Grey's Mother." He says and I look at him weirdly. "As much as we care for Ahri, it's nice to see Grey bring home a respectful young Lady." He says and I blush as Akali smiles up at me.
"Oh we just met." Akali says and Orion chuckles.
"I just met his Mom and thought she would be a good friend. Five years later Grey was born." Dad says and I gag slightly.
"Could we not? I'd actually like to enjoy dinner." I say and he laughs.
"Wait so she isn't Grey's real Mom?" Akali asks and I shake my head.
"My Mother passed away when I was very young. Zalga is my Stepmom." I say and she nods.
"Sorry for your loss." She says and I smile.
"No worries. Now let's eat because I'm starving." I say and we walk into the dining room. Akali greets my younger sisters as Zalga goes to the stove. "Hey. You cooked so I'll pass everything out." I say and she smiles before sitting next to Dad. I jump slightly as Akali appears beside me.
"I'll help." She says and hands me plates to fill. I smile and begin to fill plates of food. As we sit down after handing out plates Dad smiles at me.
"You alright Dad?" I ask and he nods.
"Yeah Kiddo... I'm just proud of the man you're becoming." He says and Zalga puts her hand on his arm. I smile and get up to hug him. "God look at how big you are, I missed so much of your life." He says and I pat his back.
"You didn't miss much Old Man." I say and he chuckles.
"Thank you Kiddo. Sorry for getting emotional like this out of nowhere." He says and I smile at him.
"All good Dad." I say and sit down to eat with everyone. Akali answers questions about herself and asks questions herself. "So you're an underground rapper?" I ask and she smiles.
"Yeah and I'm pretty good if I say so myself." She says and I nod.
"Grey here plays guitar and has an amazing voice." Zalga says which makes my eyes widen slightly. "I caught him jamming out in his room and snapped a few pictures." She continues which makes me faceplant on the table.
"I'd love to see some pictures." Akali says and I glare at Zalga.
"Hell no." I say and Akali pouts.
"You never let me do anything!" She huffs and this makes my head hurt.
"What the hell do you mean by that?! We literally met today!" I say and she frowns.
"Now you're being mean to me." She says and my ears twitch slightly.
"Stop gaslighting me." I say and she bursts into laughter. She hops up and hugs me while still laughing.
"I'm just playing around Grey." She says and I roll my eyes. Suddenly the door opens and in walks Ahri. When she looks at Akali and I the temperature drops by at least fifteen degrees. I quickly hide behind Akali which is comical. Me being 6'4, Akali being 5'3, and I'm hiding from a 5'5 Fox Vastayan.
"Hey Ahri." I say cautiously and her tails smack on the ground out of irritation. I know this is a sign that she is absolutely livid because she NEVER smacks her tails on the ground.
"Hello Grey. Who are you hiding behind?" She asks lowly.
"Hey. My name is Akali. Grey invited me over for dinner so I could get to know him. He seems like a really cool guy." Akali says and Ahri glares at me.
"Oh really? Just inviting random women home huh?" Ahri asks and I quickly shake my head
"No. I just felt that she didn't mean any harm." I say and her eyes flash red.
"Could everyone excuse us?" Ahri asks calmly and everyone except Akali leaves. But Asura is quick to come and grab her leaving just Ahri and I. "What the fuck were you thinking?!" She asks angrily and I look at her.
"Apparently I wasn't!" I yell back and she growls lowly.
"What if she was a poacher and was going to sell you on the Black Market?! A Shadow Wolf is a one in a million Vastayan! There are only three in the whole world and NEWS FLASH! YOU'RE one of them!" She yells and I slam my hands on the table.
"I understand Ahri! You don't think I'm constantly watching over my shoulder?! To constantly be ready to summon my sword!" I yell at her and she punches the table harshly.
"Then why aren't you more careful?!" She yells.
"Because I still need to live my life! Do you want me to just give up on MY dreams?! To live away from the world by myself?!" I yell at her and she looks up at me with tears in her eyes. "Ahri..." I say softly and walk over to her as she begins to cry.
"I just don't want to lose you. You mean so much to me." She cries and I pull her into my arms. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost you." She cries softly and I pet her hair gently.
"Hey. I promise you I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I'm always going to be there for you." I whisper softly and she looks up at me.
"Promise?" She asks and I chuckle.
"Promise." I say and she sniffles.
"I-If I become famous and rich...would you stay with me?" She asks and I kiss her forehead gently.
"Sure thing." I say and she sniffles while hugging me tightly.
-??? POV-
I run while clutching my bleeding waist as I hear boots catching up to me. I gasp as I reach a cliff and turn to my attackers. "Now why would you run like that Darlin? You cost me some good men too." The leader says and I grip my dagger tightly. "You'll catch a pretty penny for some rich asshole." He says and I growl. "Now be a good puppy and drop the dagger." He says and I smile.
"I'd rather die." I say and back up to the ledge. "Go fuck yourself." I say and lean back over the ledge. I smile and close my eyes before I feel the bite of the freezing cold water.
-Alright! Some pretty emotional stuff from Ahri and Grey. Would those two just confess already?! It's like the author is planning some bullshit as usual....bastard.-
