A CROW HAD ARRIVED AT REN'S ESTATE THE FOLLOWING MORNING.

"caw! caw!"

ren groaned, "go awaayyyuughhhh"

"mission! mission!"

that was enough to make ren perk up.

"huh? mission? really?"

the crow cawed again and ren squinted it at it. "who are you, anyway?"

the crow cawed in annoyance, "i'm your crow, stupid!"

"uh, my crow? why do i get a crow"

the crow seemed annoyed, ignoring her question.

"mission! caw! mission!"

"yeah, yeah. i heard you the first time. what's your name"

the crow huffed, "i don't have one. the master said you get to name me. caw!"

ren awed, "seriously? fuck yes!"

the crow seemed worried.

"hm.. let's see" 

she snickered suddenly.

"what if i named you... miguel the second"

she snickered again. "yes. that's your name now, miquel the second"

the female crow seemed mortified at the terrible name, swooping ren and pecking her cheek.

"HEY! OW!" the girl swatted the dark crow.

with a final huff, miguel the second departed.

ren smirked, changing from her sleepwear into her spidersuit, deciding against wearing her jeans and keeping her mask pulled up.

she exited her estate, breathing in the fresh, non-polluted hair.

"oi, miguel the second" she called.

"lead me to this mission" ren said whimsically. miguel the second rolled her eyes, flying up and darting off without another word.

ren huffed, swinging on the trees and following after the surprisingly hasty crow.

thankfully, the two passed through no villages, where ren was worried she'd be burned at the stake or something.

finally, miguel the second landed nearby a temple in the middle of a forest.
