REN COUGHED AWKWARDLY, GLANCING UPWARDS AT THE MASTER.
he gave her a gentle smile, "i would like to get to know more about you, miss renee. i hear you have some fascinating powers"
sanemi looked surprised.
"though i see you've already shown the others, is that correct?"
ren blinked. "oh. uh, yeah, i did.. sorry?" ren questioned if she should be sorry.
the master chuckled. "no need for apologies. however, i hope it won't be an inconvenience for you to repeat your words to me and sanemi?" he asked with a smile.
ren felt very light again, this guy's way of addressing people was very beautiful.
"ah, before we begin, my name is ubuyashiki kagaya" he gave a small bow of his head, ren quickly bowed back.
"it's uh, lovely to meet you.. sir?" ren questioned how she should address him. the hashira seemed to refer to him as 'the master' or 'master', but technically he wasn't her master as she was not in the demon slayer corps, but she also didn't want to seem informal or rude to an obviously highly respected man by casually referring to him as kagaya or ubuyashiki.
kagaya chuckled again, "you may call me kagaya"
ren's eyes widened in surprise, similar to all the hashira apart from gyomei.
huh?! he's really going to let me address him so in-formally? it doesn't seem any of the hashira do that! maybe it's a personal choice? either way..
"o-oh.." ren blinked, "okay, kagaya..-san?" she questioned her use of formalities, wholly unused to using them.
"well, i would be pleased to show off my epic moves again, so" she grinned lightly, he smiled at her, sanemi huffed slightly at her informality.
"well, first i have super strength" ren shrugged, "i dunno how i'd really demonstrate that, though.." ren scratched her cheek.
she felt the need to demonstrate this time around, even though kagaya could not see.
