(CHAPTER THREE) The Other Side

December 17th, 2009. 5:10 PM.

That was when it was. The exact moment when the winter clouds got seemingly darker. It was a time and day that should've never had happened if it weren't for the selfishness of one's pleasure and boredom. The teenage girl with the blonde curly hair should've never happened.

In the lost minds of those who stood before her and watched her fail her job as a babysitter, they all winced, and cried. They all screamed, asking themselves why she hadn't stayed to do what she was trusted to do.

But they couldn't fully blame her. They blamed him. They blamed the figure that hid in the corner and watched as the blonde haired girl made her way away from the red-headed one, leaving her out in the open just like many had done to the rest of them.

Now, because of the actions of two people, the red-headed girl would soon realize she'd never see home again. And the cries of the townspeople would soon send a solemn lullaby to the rest of them who heard from the other side.
