Marshall University History.

One of West Virginia's first public institutions of higher education, Marshall University was founded as Marshall Academy in 1837 and named after Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Marshall (1755-1835) Who was a cursed wolf. He started the school of higher education for wolves and witches primarily. The institution became Marshall College in 1858 and attained university status in 1961. In the 1950's they started accepting vampire students and professors to the University for equality and to show that all supernaturals were accepted. Humans also made up the bulk of the student population but remained unaware of the supernatural element within the school.

"How did your magic meetup go?" Hayley asked Bonnie as they walked to their history class. "Are there more freshmen witches at college than you thought there would be this year?"

"There were four new ones that joined our circle, two were twin brothers." Bonnie grinned at her, "They walked in a little scared and their mouths fell open when they saw how many of us are actually here at College. It's funny I can remember feeling trepidation about joining the circle as a freshman until I entered the Circle house and saw it packed with hundreds of witches from everywhere. Now I know why Lucy had witch connections all over America. She met them at College. The freshmen will be grateful they took the plunge to join."
