Klaus has the gift of premonition (foreseeing events that are to happen) this will be something that is strictly kept a secret, nobody has ever come to know of it, maybe he even hides it from certain siblings and would explain why he is one step ahead of his enemies at times. He could have this gift because his mother is a powerful witch and he possesses the witch gene but it's just not active but he has this unique gift that was somehow activated.
He encountered Hayley before she met Shane and forewarns her about him coming to her. He warns her about Katherine and they team up someway and get close until they sleep together. After they part, Klaus could get the premonition of what is to happen, her pregnancy, the witches and Marcel so he packs up and goes to New Orleans taking Kol with him, wanting to change the outcome of what is to happen. Basically he's trying to stop what he foresaw in his premonition. He doesn't act up with Hayley, he makes Davina an alley, not wanting her to be his enemy, she could play double agent. He confronts Marcel but doesn't fight him, he wants them to stand together and team up. Him and Hayley fall in love over time.(I always thought Davina and Klaus would make great allies if they didn't hate each other, might be just me who feels that way)

CHAPTER ONE.

In the quiet of the moonlit night, a figure stood at the edge of the dense forest, his heart hammering a thousand beats per minute. The air was crisp with the scent of pine and earth, a stark contrast to the stale, lifeless air he'd breathed for centuries. The silver strands of moonlight danced through the leaves above, casting a soft, dappled glow upon the figure. His blonde hair, a stark reminder of a lineage steeped in both power and suffering, fluttered gently in the evening breeze. His eyes, a piercing blue, searched the horizon, eager for the release he hadn't felt in a millennium.

With a roar that echoed through the ancient woods, the figure's body contorted in a display of power and agony. His bones cracked and muscles stretched, reshaping themselves into a form that was both terrifying and majestic. The curse that had bound him for so long was breaking and with it, the essence of his true nature was emerging. The transformation was complete. Where once there had been a man, there now stood a wolf of unparalleled size and beauty. His fur, midnight black, shimmered in the moonlight as if kissed by the infinite black night itself. The power of his biological father's blood, the essence of the werewolf curse, surged through his veins, setting him free from his vampiric shackles.

Klaus took his first breath as a wolf and felt the world anew. His senses were heightened, the night air filled with a symphony of scents that painted a vivid tapestry of the creatures that surrounded him. His heart pounded in his chest, no longer the cold, lifeless organ of a vampire, but the fiery core of a creature born of two worlds. The ground beneath his paws was alive, resonating with the heartbeat of the Earth. With a leap that seemed to defy gravity, he disappeared into the foliage, his powerful legs propelling him through the underbrush with a speed and grace that could only be attributed to his newfound form. Leaving behind Elijah, the death and destruction of the night's ritual.
