The cold breeze blew her hair as she close her eyes feeling the breeze brushing against her skin. Taking a deep breath, a smile draws up on her lips.

"I know I'll find you here."

Freen opened her eyes and turned towards the latter. Pressing her lips together, she then turned away as she eyed the dark sky.

"I know you're upset but this is the right and the best thing to do Freen."

Freen once again shut her mouth and continued looking up in the sky.

" All I want is for you to have a good future and to get that you need to finished your studies. And getting into that university already puts you ahead. Can you just listen to me and stop this childish act— "

"Childish act? Really Mom? Hmm! Okay, I get your point but why do I need to study at that very expensive only for rich kids university just so I'll have a bright future?" Freen sarcastically responded.

Softly slapping the younger's shoulder, the older woman slightly pushing her daughter so she can sit beside the latter.

"If only you will let me finished first then you wouldn't ask those questions. Freen, you said it yourself. That university is only for rich kids and that's why it will put you ahead from other kids who are on regular school. This is a great chance Freen so don't let it slip away. I'm your mother and that's why I know what is best for you! You listen to me or I'll rip your ear off."

"Mom~~"

Freen loudly whined why side hugging the older woman.

"But Mom—"

"No buts young lady. I got everything settled. Can we just grab this opportunity baby? You know no matter what I'll do, I can never afford to send you in that university nor give you a life-"

"MOM! I never ask anything because all I wanted is to be with you. Having you is enough for me. I don't care if I'll go and study in a community college. You know that right?" Freen eagerly eyeing her mother, hoping her mother got her point.

Nodding her head, the older lady loudly sigh.

" I want all the best for you. Your father might not be an ideal dad but he's giving you this chance Freen and I think letting it pass us will be a big mistake. Please can you do it for me? If you'll accept his offer I will be really happy. Baby?"

Freen rolled her eyes. Seems like her mother really knows her too well.

"You're really something mom. You're taking advantage of me knowing well enough how much I love you. What am I gonna do with you?"

The older woman grin widely as she hug her daughter tightly.

"I love you too. Now come on, let's sleep early tonight because I don't want my baby to be late on her first day." The older woman pull her daughter up and literally drag her whiny daughter.

"Freen Sarocha!"

The younger one groan loudly hearing her mother calling her out. Grabbing her pillow, she then proceeded to cover her face, hoping and wishing to get more time to sleep but unfortunately, from calling her out, her mother is now banging her door.

"I'm up!" She shouted and slammed her hands on her bed.

"You don't want me to go in there and beat your lazy ass Freen." Her mother roared.

Raising her hands up in the air, Freen hastily pushed her blanket off her then glance at the closed door.

"In the count of 3 if you're still in your bed I will shower you on your bed. One..—"

"Aaaiisshh!!! I'm up I'm up. Geez, do you have a laser eyes?" Freen shouted back and headed to her bath room to shower.

After getting ready, Freen heads to their kitchen where her mother awaits for her. Sighing loudly, Freen sat in front of the older woman.

"Mom do I really need to go to that school?"

Paakk

The older woman smacked the younger woman's head and sigh. Looking at her daughter rubbing the area she hit, the older woman sadly eyeing the younger one. Pratt raise her daughter alone and the universe knows the struggles she had gone through just to be able to get by day by day. She not rich but she manage to raise her daughter well but she has dreams for her daughter and that's why she forced the younger one to grab this chance even though it cost her mostly everything but for the sake of her daughter she is willing to sale anything even her soul.

Looking at her gloomy mother, Freen press her lips together feeling guilty for making her mom sad.

"I will go as long as you promise to always pack my lunch. Is that a deal?" Freen softly mumbled then smirk when she saw her mom's face light up.

"I love you and you know that right? Your lunch will always be on me." Pratt lovingly answered.

"Sounds like a deal for me then." Freen chime and then started eating her breakfast.

As the mother and daughter bid goodbye, Freen took a deep breath then put her helmet on.

"For Mom Freen. You need to do this." She chanted, turn towards where her mother is standing then wave her hand goodbye again.

Using her bike, Freen only took 15 minutes drive to her new school. Looking around, Freen closed her eyes. Being surrounded by this fancy and special edition cars, surely will be trouble. Not that she hate rich people, she just despise her father who happens to be one of this people. As much as she wants, she doesn't want to be around this kind of people and yet her she is.

"Aish.. the things I do for you Pratt Sarocha." She mumbled then smirk and giggle softly. Getting off her bike, she then walked towards the main hallway.

"You seem lost or is it me?"

Freen angrily frown then turned towards the latter.

"Woah! Chill! I'm just asking." The stranger playfully raise her both hands up, a gesture she's not gonna fight.

Freen scoff loudly and then walked away from the newly acquainted woman. Clearly showing no
interest on having any conversation at all. Fixing her leather jacket, Freen let her eyes roamed around. She's not gonna deny it, the school is immaculately designed, well it's really for wealthy people.

"You look like it's your first time here. It's literally written on your face.."

"Are you following me?" Freen angrily spatted. The latter rolled her eyes then walked slightly ahead Freen.

"Seems like your head is filled up with toxic air. This is the main hallway. So those people behind you are following you too?" The latter smirk victoriously then left the stunned Freen.
