Childhood Memories Part 2

Age 10: Blaine comes out to Sophia

Blaine is standing outside his sister's room about to knock on the door when he lowers his hand and turns and starts to walk away but stops about halfway down the hall to his sister's door and bangs on it quickly before he and quickly walky back can change his mind again.

Everyone except Blaine look confused at his hesitation to knock but Blaine's face shows fondness at the memory about to play.

The door open and Sophia is standing on the other side and smiles when she sees Blaine but it turns into a frown when she sees his tense posture and nervous smile so she grabs his hand and pulls him inside her room and closes the door before she gently pulls him to the bed and they sit down and she asked quietly but sternly" Are you going to tell me what's wrong? Actually no scratch that tell me who upset you so I know who to kill."

Blaine shakes his head fondly at his sister's words, Kurt smiles very much aware of how protective she is of the people she loves, the boys in the New directions laugh while the girls roll their eyes but have small smirks on their faces while the Mikaelsons and Raven are wearing proud smirks and smiles at her wording, but Rachel and Elena frown at how easily she talks about killing.

"No one I promise... I just need to talk to you about something but I don't really know where to start"Blaine explains softly, and Sophia replies in a teasing tone "how about the begining." Blaine chuckles at her teasing and his shoulders seem to relax slightly but he tightens his grip on her hand afraid that she will look at him differently after he tells her the truth. Blaine takes a deep breath and keeps his eyes on their hands and starts talking quietly not looking at his sister scared of what he will see. "I promise no one hurt me but at school the guys I am friends with are starting to talk about girls and how pretty they are and I just.... don't see it. I mean I can tell when a girl is pretty but the guys at school are saying how they want to hold their hands or kiss them on the cheek or the lips and I just don't feel that way around them......but....but when I'm around certain boys I can't help but want to take their hand or hear their voice more... I'm feeling around boys what I'm ment to be feeling around girls.....what I'm trying to say is....... I think I'm gay" at this point Blaine looks at his sister and sees that her face is emotionless and dread runs through his body.

Tyler places a hand on Blaine's shoulder and squeezes it gently to show him support as he knows that this is ment to be a private moment and Blaine prefers not to show vulnerability around people he doesn't know. While Elena has a disgusted look on her face and says in a snotty voice " I should have known you were gay, your to girly and weak to be a proper man." This makes Rachel frown and say "that's not true, I have two gay dad's and they are the best men I know, how about you stay out of things that you don't understand." This shocks a few people as they know that Rachel hates Sophia and seems to have taken a liking to Elena as she hates Sophia as well but the glee kids are aware of how protective she is of her dad's and even though she is not the best person there is good in her she just chooses not to show it or is in focused on being the best and doesn't see the hurt she causes around her. Elena frowns at Rachel but turns away without saying a word.

Blaine looks back down at their hands and tries to loosen his grip ready to bolt when his sister lets go of his left hand but continues to hold his right hand firmly in hers when her right hand tilts his head up gently and she has a small smile on her face and whispers softly "it doesn't matter, your still my brother no matter who you choose to love, I will stand by you no matter what, you will always be the same person to me. Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me." Blaine realises a sigh of relief as tears start to fall as he realises that his sister accepts him and he had no reason to be worried. He wraps his arms around her tightly and she returns the embrace and she whispers in his ear softly" We stick together always and forever remember?" Blaine
whispers "always and forever" feeling the weight of the secret lift from his shoulders as he knows the most important person in the world to him is on his side and with that he relaxes into his sister's gentle embrace.
