I just wanted to apologise that the next chapter is taking so long but I have a vision in my head for the next scene but this scene is harder to write than I anticipated. Although there is a small sneak peek just below.
Age 13: The Sadi Hawkins Dance
Blaine tenses seeing the title of the memory not wanting to relive something so traumatic. He also doesn't want it to be something everyone knows about especially as he doesn't even like talking about it. Kurt notices that Blaine tensed at the memory title so he is guessing that the next memory is not going to be an easy one to relive. Kurt is hesitant as he gently places his hand on Blaine's and squeezes it softly to show that he has support but let's go after a few seconds not wanting to make him uncomfortable. Blaine is slightly shocked by the gesture of comfort but he feels his heart warm at the action so he reaches over and takes Kurt's hand in his gently and squeezes his hand softly in thanks but doesn't let go and laces their fingers together. Kurt feels a soft hand take his and he is shocked to see that Blaine has taken his hand and squeezes it softly (as a thank you maybe?) but he doesn't let go and instead laces their fingers together. The bold move shocks Kurt as most people don't even really want to talk to him in the halls because they seem to think being gay is a contagious illness so the gesture causes his heart to speed up drastically but the gesture warms his heart as well, making the boy smile.
Blaine is standing at the bottom of the staircase in a dark blue suit and his hair gelled back slightly. "Soso if we don't get going soon we are going to be late!" Blaine calls up the staircase to his sister. "Calm down Blaine I'm ready, I'm right here." Sophia says. Sophia comes down the stairs in a simple designed pale pink dress. The dress is ankle length and has thick straps. The dress hangs on her body showing off the womanly features that his sister has started developing. She is also wearing black high heels (with a short heel). Blaine is resisting the urge to tell his sister to go and change into something that won't make her the centre of every males attention but he knows better than to try and tell her what to do. Unless he wants an early death that is.

(These are the shoes I see her wearing but put straps on them)
"You look beautiful sis." Blaine says with a smile. Sophia beams at her brother and replies "Thanks, you clean up nicely yourself." Blaine rolls his eyes at his sister's light teasing but continues to smile as their mother walks into the room and starts to tear up seeing them all dressed up. "Oh my babies are growing up to fast!" She cries but takes out a camera and says with a teary smile "alright let me take a couple of pictures before I change my mind about you going." Their mother takes three pictures one of them standing side by side smiling, one where they have their arms wrapped around each others shoulders and one with them pulling funny faces at the camera. Their dad walks in and says "alright Amy that's enough, if we take up anymore of their time then they will miss the dance." James Anderson says with amusement in his voice while wrapping an arm around his wife's waist. "I trust you will look out for your sister Blaine, don't want any of those boys getting any ideas do we" he say serious. "I don't need Blaine to look out for me dad I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself." Sophia states strongly with irritation in her tone at her dad thinking that she needs someone to protect her. Does he think she will be some damsel in distress? Not a chance in hell!
"Of course she doesn't need anyone to take care of her! She's a Mikaelson at heart that should be enough to send anyone running." Says Kol proudly. Rebekah rolls her eyes and says strongly "A woman could easily kill a man with the right motivation you arrogant ass!" "If she has Niks temper then the only thing you should worry about is keeping her calm or I think heads will start rolling " Elijah states. The boys from the new directions (except for Kurt) casually cross their legs a few of them remembering pissing Sophia off and getting a strong kick in the nuts, yep she can take care of herself just fine.
Her dad doesn't acknowledge her statement and instead says to Blaine "oh and I would like to meet the girl you are going with at some point son." Blaine and Sophia share a quick glance before Blaine gives a shaky smile and says hesitantly "sure dad" but his heart is beating rapidly as he knows that he can't keep his parents in the he dark about him being gay for much longer but he is terrified of their reaction, more his dad than his mum because his dad has never spoken nicely about gays.
The Mikaelsons frown at the fact that Sophia was ignored and glare at the man on screen. Meanwhile, the new directions look at Blaine sympathetically hoping that his dad takes him coming out well. Kurt squeezes Blaine's hand gently guessing by the expressionless look on his face that his dad didn't take the news well, but he hopes that nothing bad happens to him and that he can have fun at the dance. Blaine doesn't take his eyes off the screen but squeezes Kurt's hand grateful for the comfort, but secretly wishing that his sister was here as she is the only person to know the extent of what happened that night. However he is curious about the full story as she always refuses to tell him what happened after he was knocked out; he knows it's not good though as his sister always becomes stiff and expressionless when he asked about it. He never wants to see his sister so distant and cold so he stopped asking about it, maybe by watching this he will finally know why.
