Kulsum's POV-
I was on the bed getting ready to sleep while Abdul Razzaq beside me was on his laptop as always for freaking 2 hours.
"What are you doing in that thing?" I groaned lazily, tilting my head closer to him.
"Checking the share market." His gaze didn't shift from the screen."Anything yet?" I unwrapped the blanket as I rested my head back. "Yes actually, a woman surprisingly applied for all the ten percent share." He spoke firmly, his fingers resting on his temple.
"Whoa! Who is she?" Curiosity got the better of me. I have no interest in his work to be honest but a woman willing to buy the whole ten percent share is quite intriguing.
"I did some research, her name's Warda Qasim, age twenty two and she's a self made millionaire, and the founder of her halal product cosmetic company 'Modern and Modest'." He clenched his jaw.
Something feels off, I can tell from his face. "So what's the problem? Aren't you happy?" I bit my lower lip as I turned to him.
"Her father Jafar Qasim used to be one of our rivals and an illegal dealer. He once framed me for his dirty work, luckily it was proved that I had no hand in it, thus he got arrested." His voice darkened as he finally looked up from his screen.
"So what does his daughter want?" I leaned in forward.
"I inquired her and she said she's cut off all the ties with her father long ago. He's still in jail and she wants nothing to do with him, she simply wants to expand her horizons as she took no money or luxuries from her father and built everything on her own." He ran a hand through his hair."That's nice....where's she from?" I asked, resting my knuckles under my chin.
"Dubai....Saudi Arabia. Her family is Arab and they used to live here in Istanbul but when her father went to prison...they moved back to Dubai. But now she's settling here again." He typed something on his keyboard, his muscles stiffened and gaze sharp like a predator.
It's actually admirable how a young woman the same age as me, built her career on her own despite having rich parents. These things only makes me look down on myself to be honest.
I turned the lights off but Abdul Razzaq was still stuck on his laptop. And I finally had enough!
"Shut this damn thing now, otherwise I will throw it outside the window!" I hissed as I rested my head on his lap while clutching onto his shirt.
"Yes, melekim....just a few minutes." His velvety voice mumbled as he caressed my hair gently.
I finally got up and snatched the laptop from him. "You!" I pointed at the laptop. "Stay away from my husband alright. He's mine....and won't spend another minute of this night with anyone or anything else!" I tumbled on the bed before crashing down as he caught me by the waist.
His one hand gripped my waist while the other tugged my hair, gently but firmly as our lips just inches apart.....his dark ocean blue eyes darting mine. And no matter how many times this had happened......my heart always bangs in my ribcage.
"Never thought I'd see the day where my wife is jealous of nothing but a laptop." He chuckled deeply as we both laid down on the bed.
"Yeah well your dear laptop has ninety percent of your attention. And I'm ought to be jealous....I don't like to share, especially my husband." My proud grin rested on my face as his arms wrapped my torso.
"I'm not complaining.....I like how possessive and fiesty you are." His husky voice deepened as I felt his lips against my jaw.
"Says the man who got jealous of a mere whisker just a few hours ago." I scoffed playfully, but before I could breathe again....his mouth captured mine into a slow, passionate, and sensual kiss.
